Departure La Paz: 07:00am We arrive to San Evaristo, our main point, where camp site, restaurant and services (bathroom, water and shades areas) are available.
We visit South part of San Jose Island where can find lots of sea wildlife. We also hike in the salt area with a certified guide and explain about the process and history. Then, we continue to snorkel in the mangroves.
We snorkel in one of the no take zone area where is full of sealife. Besides, we visit this small village while learn about their history and get to buy some souvenirs made by them. It has a breathtaking view that you would not want to miss.
Here is the place where we have lunch and spend time on the beach on a shade area. There is an optional hike so we can enjoy and amazing view of the San Francisquito Island. It is a beautiful beach with turquoise water where you can snorkel and have fun.
On our way back, we have spare time to use paddle board and kayaks in San Evaristo Bay. After dinner, we set a bonfire in our camping site near to the beach front.

5.00I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Barbarita Tours! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The hospitality of the entire team went above and beyond, and so attentive to every detail. The glamping setup and food far exceeded our expectations — it felt luxurious yet connected to nature in the best way. Our guide, Karla, was incredible! She was not only knowledgeable and passionate but also so much fun to be around. We spent our days exploring the water and relaxing at our own private beach oasis, creating memories that will truly last a lifetime. 5.00What an amazing experience! I can’t recommend it highly enough . We went with 6 friends everything was perfect the food the tours . They went out of their way to pamper us. We got to explore the best Baja has to offer absolutely gorgeous scenery Carla our guide made sure we had a fun and memorable trip. She was amazing! We will do it again

5.00We did a 3 day/2 night tour which included camping on Isla San Jose. My wife and I had a fantastic time. The guide, boat captain, drivers and all the people who looked after us were very professional and friendly, ensuring we were always having a good time and keeping us safe. We feel like we were experiencing Mexico in a unique way. Stunning scenery and fascinating marine life kept us enthralled. The food was very good and we slept comfortably. And we have many experiences and wonderful memories of Isla San Jose. We hope we have the opportunity to take another adventure with Barbarita Tours.

5.00To start off the booking service was very smooth. Information was given clearly by Pepe about the services available on the tour and what to expect. This is a family owned business and all details are taken care off as a family. His mom’s cooking was excellent. We had excellent VEGAN food prepared for us on request. I still can’t stop talking about the delicious vegan lentil ceviche she had prepared for lunch. The tour guides Valeria and Yuli were very patient, friendly and took care of all the minute details while on tour. They would hand out timely cold drinks and snacks. They even encouraged and helped me to snorkel. It was a magical experience and would have missed out without the help of them. Captain Jose pointed us to sea life when he spotted them and shared all his local knowledge on birds. We had a very safe drive by experienced Julio as the road to Evaristo is not a paved road and there are lots of curves. About the tour itself, we saw amazing landscapes, colorful fish and dolphins. We had plenty of snorkeling and hiking opportunities. It’s once in a lifetime experience. Few locals were on our tour coming for the 6th time. This says a lot about the tour and the beautiful islands. Hope to go back in a different season.

5.00My husband and I did this tour and loved it, I was truly blown away by the beauty of where we were and the hospitality of the team and family. Everything was amazing and I feel that we got to see a part of the world that is untouched and truly breathtaking. This was my husband's second time on this tour and this time round he loved it even more, we are already thinking about our next visit. Thank you to the Barbarita Tours team for everything!

5.00Excellent tour of San Evaristo Island San Jose and San Francisco. Our tour started in San Evaristo, there we slept one night, the food very rich and the guides excellent. Then we slept one night in San Jose. The team did a great job looking for good snorkeling spots, the camp was very well organized the very rich food and we had the advice of a marine biologist with whom we could learn not only from fish but also from the soils and birds of the region. The last day we were on San Francisco Island we did some hiking, enjoyed the view, the snorkeling and swimming with sea lions. Definitely a recommended experience for all those people who seek to disconnect and like adventure and nature. The Team behaved amazingly with us, they were very flexible and friendly, they made us feel like just another member of the family. We will gladly repeat the experience
