5.00I had a great time. I recommend quad bikes on Lake Rosa... and Tortoise Park is not worth including in the tour. Only if you like turtles should you take a tour for that... and make it very cheap.

1.00The tour was not as advertised. Badou my guide (?sp) told me on our way to the lake that the lake is not pink and hasn't been pink for 3 years. Also, we did not go to Noflaye park. Badou and Abdul (the driver) were nice, friendly people but the tour did not deliver what they advertised.
Need more money to do more

1.00You need have more money and negotiate to do more activities. I didn’t have any money. The driver got there, then a nice gentleman explained about the lake for about 10-15 minutes and that was end of my tour. This of this as a private driver with a nice comfortable car more than a tour. They will get you there safely and ppl are kind. But you must spend more money to spend time there .

1.00A German speaking tour guide was offered and confirmed. But only one English-speaking guide came. Also, the pick-up time by half an hour was not observed. It was agreed at 9.00 and not 9.30 !

5.00Good time, enjoyed conversations with guide about Senegals past, present and future. Very informative. Pink Lake is a good experience. We did the 4 x 4 jeep instead of boat.

2.00On the internet you can find information about when the lake is actually "pink", most sources speak about the period from Nov. till May. So I booked, I went the end of November, but the guide did not mention on the way (an hour by car) that the lake did not have the pink colour (not even a bit). Maybe because he was afraid that I would not go? Sad attitude, I'd like honest information. The lake is small, you can see the "salt extraction site", we did a small excursion with a little boat, nice because of the fresh wind, furthermore there is nothing more interesting to see or do.

3.00Just to be clear, my guide and driver were fantastic, telling me a lot about the country and people on the way. But the lake is currently far from pink which was very disappointing (hence the 3points) but obviously not anyone's fault. Probably should have dug a bit deeper on lake info and not just search for tours.. You live and you learn. On the other hand it was good, if shocking, to see what are most certainly the effects of climate change.

2.00The tour operator posted the wrong pick-up time.. My guide and driver arrived at 9:00AM, without notice. After writing the operator to explain, I received no reply. The tour is overpriced and there is not much to see for the 3-hour excursion. The guide was pleasant though giving a history of the areas we drive through.
Well worth it, even when not pink due to weather

5.00Private tour, great guide, comfortable ride, poetically serene taking a ride on the lake in admiration of the effort required to get the salt out. Though the sun wasn’t out long enough to get views of the pinkness, experience was still well worth it. The guide is full of history and knowledge
