Lively, interactive, welcoming. This was such fun, we wouldn’t have believed how interesting it was. Lots about history and the palusiers - salt makers - who’ve been using the same methods for centuries. Don’t miss the Salt Marsh Museum (Musée des Marais Salants) in Batz-sur-Mer which is excellent too.

The September period is not ideal. Preferred July/August after a great tide. In order to come across a harvest of fleur de sel.

Very good discovery with a very good animator. Everything was perfect. Very interesting visit. We have tasted edible plants, it is original, but good for some taste.
