We offer rafting in the VJOSA river, which from March 13, 2023 is a national park, the last remaining wild river in Europe. Rafting is a group adventure sport. A normal tour has a length of 8.7 km with a duration of about 3 hours depending on the water level in the river. Together we will learn the rules of navigation, enjoy the waves of the Vjosa river, swim in the fresh water and jump from the cliffs. We hope that it will be a great experience for you as it has been for many others before.

5.00We booked our rafting tour with Rafting Albania on the very first day of our trip—and what an incredible way to kick things off! The entire experience lasted around three hours, including a short scenic drive to the starting point and back from the end. The rafting itself was the perfect mix of excitement and safety: highly engaging and fun, but never felt dangerous. The highlight? Getting to swim in the crystal-clear Vjosa River, one of Europe’s last wild rivers, and an optional (but totally worth it) cliff jump for the adventurous among us! Our guide—Adi —was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, funny, and effortlessly made everyone feel comfortable. Along the way, he shared captivating stories about the river, the surrounding mountains, and the Permet region, adding a rich cultural layer to the adventure. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or just looking to enjoy Albania’s stunning natural beauty from a unique perspective, this is a must-do experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to this beautiful country!
