4.00We visited three places. The first stop we had wine and appetizers. Very good! The next stop was Mexican. The jalapeño margaritas were wonderful but the taco was just average. The last stop was dessert at a little place you would pass by if you didn’t know it was there however all the samples were delicious!!

5.00Today we rejoined our Fixer Upper Tour Guide Sue for the Food Tour. It was excellent as well. Sue again was fun and informative. The food stops (there were 3) were all delicious and interesting. We started with wine and Tapas at the Spanish restaurant Segovia. The owner Courtney explained the wines and the three Tapas that we ate. All were excellent. We then went to an historic BBQ restaurant still owned by the original family. It too was excellent. The last course was a delicious selection of desserts from a bakery specializing in desserts from around the world. The whole experience was really fun and the food delicious.

4.00Nice time with Sue our guide. She was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. Food was delicious and just enough to not overstuff us. Price was steep for what we got, however.

5.00We love doing food tours in a new destination and this tour was one of our favorites. Part of the fun of these tours is the surprise of each stop and the local fare that is served. The pairing at our first stop was perfect match of wines and tapas. The second stop had all the local flavor of Waco and the ideal beverage to match! The final stop was a satisfying sweet ending. Come hungry and ready to explore the great food of Waco!
