Discover the incredible oasis of Wadi Shab - one of the last places in Oman where you can chill in fresh blue water surrounded by mountains.
Start the tour with pick up from your hotel in Muscat or meeting point (depending on the selected option). Hop into an air-conditioned vehicle and set off on a 2-hour scenic drive through the otherworldly landscapes of Oman. Along the route, stop at a local coffee shop to try an energizing Omani tea. When you arrive at your destination, hidden away in the canyon of the dry river Wadi-Shab, take a very quick boat ride to the other side of the bank. From here, embark on your 40-minute hike. During the walk, experience the awesome power of nature which has forged the rock formations of this impressive canyon.
On the way back, stop to see a beautiful lake located in the Bimmah Sinkhole. Finally, return to the vehicle and begin the drive back to Muscat where you will be dropped off at your hotel or meeting point (depending on the selected option).

5.00Amazing trip Mohamed was amazing. He took videos for us fed us a great meal. This experience is amazing. The water fall in the hidden cave was something you can ever see elsewhere.

3.00I have a mixed review about this operator and im going to first mention the pros and then the cons. Me and my partner booked the Wadi Shab and Bimmah sinkhole tour through Viator. Pros:- 1)We were picked up in time. 2) Taken safely to destinations. 3) The tour guide Mohannad was a good guy and helped us from not falling of the side of cliffs. He also got you to do things and activities you would not which pushed our bodies to the limits. He was kind and very helpful human. Cons:- 1) They do not tell you all the swimming gear you need to take with you as they have an arrangement with the local vendors at Wadi for you to rent or buy the gear. The vendors charge you .440 oman riyal if you need to purchase using your card so please take cash. Do haggle as you will get a discount. 2) The whole walk back and forth from the Wadi takes 2.30 hours if your doing at your pace. You will be pushed to do it faster but it will tire you and also hurt you. I am an obese person and my partner has blood clot issues in her leg so we took our time. If you are not fit then this not for you as the swim to Wadi is also an hour back and forth.The terrain is dangerous and you can slip and fall at anytime and ultimately hurt yourself. The tour guide will make it look like its all easy. He is fit and has probably done it a million times.So if your not swimming into water falls then its not worth the 2.5 hour hike. Also your walking on pebbles and cobbles which can hurt your feet, knees and spine a lot. There are also no toilet or changing facilities near the waterfall area which is 1.30 hours into the walk. 3) Now we paid 138 GBP for 2 people and they advertised good food. Im surprised people have said its good. They give you a piece of fried chicken, lentils, potatos, rice,salad. Its all dry, no taste, you cannot ask for more food and the hygiene standards of the restaurant they take you is extremely poor.Honestly it would be better that they did provide food and the tourist were asked to carry their own food and charge half the price they charged for the tour. 4) The tour is rushed and you will not get the oppurtunity to just relax and enjoy the natural beauty around you. It would have been better if it were just the Wadi Shab tour. The Bimmah Sink hole is nothing significant and by the time we reached there were few who were interested in it. Conclusion:- Mohannad was great but the tour is for adventure seekers and not for the normal man like me. Im happy i did it but my body is in pain and probably if the food experience was difference i would have given it a 4 star. For now its a 3 star.

5.00Bimmah sinkhole is OK to see, but nothing special. But Wadi Shab is really beautiful, very nice trekking in an extraordinary nature. Make sure to take waterproof bag with you, because part of it you're going to swim (in a very clean and warm water). One of the best parts of our visit of Oman. Reccomend also swimming at nearby Tiwi Beach.

5.00Wadi shab was great! Beautiful though note that you must hike in. To me, bimmah. sinkhole was meh. Our guide Abdullah was great though! Helped me through the narrow cave :)

5.00This Omani adventure is not to be missed. thank you for an amazing trip, Abdul Rahman. Spectacular views, some hiking, relaxed swimming, and gorgeous surrounds. The company and communication was well organized, sent out information for what to bring, pick up times, etc the afternoon before the trip. Morning pick up was smooth with great communication, Abdul Rahman explained the day’s activities, and we were off. Water shoes and waterproof phone case are a must and readily available at reasonable prices. Pictures cannot do this experience justice it was a standout experience no matter how much of the world you have already seen. After Wadi Shab, we arrived as a hungry group to a local roadside restaurant where a spread of delicious food was waiting for us. We then continued to the sinkhole and then the trip back to Muscat. I was lucky to be part of a great group as a solo traveler, but truly our guide Abdul Rahman set a positive, happy and relaxed vibe for the whole group and let us enjoy the trip at our pace. He answered all of our questions, made sure we were safe on the hike and swim, and pointed interesting things out including on the drive. But he also let us relax and enjoy the trip when we wanted. Couldn’t ask for more.

3.00Our “guide” Abdulrahman, was not really a guide, more like a driver. No additional information was given except the date palm, banana tree and mango tree was shown.
