Wahiba Sands
We departed early from Muscat, heading towards the Sharqiya region. On the way, we take a short photo stop at the quaint little village of Fanja, before we continue our journey to the famous Wahiba Sands Desert, where you drive off-road and see stretches after stretches of pure sand and endless towering sand dunes. Here, you will get to appreciate and experience the real feel and magic of the Omani desert.
Wadi Bani Khalid
We have the chance to visit a traditional Bedouin house where we can try Omani coffee and dates (depending on availability). Also, you can ride Camel and drive to the dunes and take lots of photos. After this desert adventure, drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the biggest and most beautiful wadis for which Oman is famous. The wadi Canyon is impressive. With its amazing steep walls and breathtaking crystal-clear water pools, it is awesome to look at on its own. However, one can also swim in the relaxing cool freshwater pool or sunbathe. The Wadi is so grand that you can even have the chance to walk deeper right into the Wadi itself or maybe visit its hidden caves, and then we head out to drive back to Muscat.

5.00We had a wonderful day in Wadi Shab. The guide was fantastic, he never left us alone and accompanied us throughout the journey. He gave us a lot of fun. The scenery is amazing, the nature magnificent. It was an unforgettable day, everything organized perfectly.

5.00I have been to Oman 5 times for work and I fell in love with this country. I met Ahmed in 2016 and he immediately guided us to discover the wonders of this land and its welcoming people. Since then my colleagues and I have always relied on him and we have made beautiful hikes, in the desert, in the Wadi, in the mountains, we slept in tents and admired the stars. Ahmed is a responsible guide, a great driver (in the desert it is crucial!) and you will never miss anything, especially a lot of laughs! He also speaks very good English and Italian.
