Here’s the ultimate Waiheke experience, taking in the bustling villages of the western end, bush, beaches, birds and the remote eastern end of the island.

Te Ara Hura is a 100km-long walking track that takes you right around Waiheke Island.

This all-inclusive package is available to groups of 4-10 people, so get some friends together and spend a few days on a unique adventure.

Each day you will be transported to the start point for the day and you will be picked up at the end and returned to your accommodation.

Your accommodation is at the Onetangi Beach Apartments.

This package includes delicious catered meals plus ferry trip from Auckland and return.

Walking around Waiheke was a great way to spend time with family whilst getting some exercise in a beautiful environment. There was good varied terrain punctuated by stops at wineries, the gin distillery, sculpture garden and many stunning views. Gabrielle's hosting was fantastic, with an abundance of delicious food and very comfortable lodgings.

This was a 5 day walk circumventing Waiheke Island, however I joined friends for the first 2 days. The walk was just the right amount of challenge and interesting. Gabrielle provided us with comprehensive notes of the walk and the history of the areas we walked. The food was extremely generous and delicious and on both days there were places to stop for refreshments. I would absolutely recommend Terra and Tide as they looked after us well.
