Our ‘Walk-about’ tour is designed for those that want a Storytellers experience - but without the bicycle! This easy walking tour takes you onto the ‘back road’ or Ara Metua for a leisurely wander, finishing with a fresh fruit ice cream. This tour is suitable for all ages and is family friendly: so long as you can comfortably walk and have equipment for taking small children (if applicable), then this guided tour will be perfect for you. This tour provides you with the opportunity to really experience and learn more about Rarotonga, it’s people, way of life, environment and so on, while sharing a few laughs with your group and tour guide. Each walk is tailored to your interests: you decide what interests you most and your guide will incorporate that into your tour.

This tour takes place in Arorangi - the sunset side of the island. We walk along lane ways and the back road, exploring areas that you may not otherwise see. Better still, we can tell you all about what you are seeing, and taste some of the amazing fruits that are in season along the way. You will see animals grazing, a huge array of plants and food crops, sacred spots, beautiful scenery and more

5.00Corrina welcomed my three children, husband, mother-in-law and I warmly at our resort. We took the truck to our starting point and enjoyed an incredibly informative, exciting, and surprising tour! Our children were amazed by the beauty which surrounded us at every corner. Corinna’s skill and intelligence about the nature which surrounds the island, knowledge about politics, way of living and beyond was not only intriguing yet entertaining. Our children were excited to see new plants, taste the sweet fruits fresh from the trees, witness a coconut 🥥 being open, meet local animals, and learnt some valuable sustainable concepts. She was such a vibrant, welcoming, informative tour guide with a lot of surprises on her program!! Highly recommend if you want an easy walk, or for parents with younger ones.

5.00Very Interesting! We really enjoyed the tour. Loved wandering along the back lanes with our very knowledgable guide chatting about everything & anything cook islands. I loved that we could ask questions on apparently any subject & Corine had the info. Very, very enjoyable afternoon. We got caught in a torrential downpour & it just added to the fun & the feeling of adventure. We thoroughly recommend this tour. (adults aged 30 to 73)
