Discover the Old Town of Colonia del Sacramento with an official guide who will tell you the history and curiosities of each place, in addition to recommending the best restaurants and activities in the city and the area. We will walk through the Field Gate, "La Calle de los Suspiros", the lighthouse, the yacht harbor and the church, among others.
The walking tour lasts approximately 1:30 hours and is done in small groups. It starts at "La Fuente Portuguesa", next to the church "Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento", and follows a circular route through the Old Town, ending at the starting point.
Colonia del Sacramento is a picturesque and welcoming city, a must-see when visiting Uruguay or Buenos Aires. It can be seen in just one day, but it is recommended to spend a night to enjoy one of the best sunsets in Uruguay and walk through the Old town under the warm light of the typical lanterns from Colonia.

5.00Surprising is full of history the streets of the historic center enchanted by the conservation and charming rusticity of the old houses And its doors , typical restaurants like the Páez in A restored house, hotels full of charm on the edge of the Silver as the Chaço and with restaurant full of charm. It is worth seeing and spending the day, sleeping in a guest house in the historic center and enjoying a restaurant at night, everything closes early

5.00I was so glad I chose to have a guided tour with Idoia. She is fascinating and knowledgable and I absolutely loved hearing about all the history, She really throws herself enthusiastically into this wonderful tour that gave me so many insights into the history of this exquisite UNESCO heritage town. She gave us space to ask questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Highly recommended. We were just a group of 5, 1.5 hours is the perfect length.
