Nice tour of the “Highlights” of Valencia through the centuries, the periods of glory are visible everywhere in the beautiful architecture and pleasant squares in the old town. This part of town is full of life and traditions... We pass the train station, Post Office, Central Market Hall, Plaza Redonda, Cathedral, Basilica with the icing on the cake the guided visit to the 15th Century Lonja or Silk Halls (Unesco World Heritage).
In the Carmen district, we look for the more alternative art of contemporary street art.

5.00City walk with visit to Valencian highlights , with many interesting backgrounds, cross references, historical facts. After this tour we have a good overview of the different influences and cultural events in Valencia. Very rewarding.

5.00It was a fantastic experience to discover Valencia with guide Annick. She took us not only to the tourist highlights, but also to places in the city that you would definitely not find otherwise. She also always had something fascinating to say and did this in a non-annoying way. We got a lot of facts about the city that you wouldn't pay attention to otherwise. There was also a lot of interaction, which kept you glued to her cool stories. It could easily take a little longer than half a day, but now we have a reason to definitely go back and book her again. Annick speaks fluent Dutch, and has lived in Valencia for a long time.

5.00Annick is definitely recommended if you want to discover Valencia. We did both the walking tour through the old town and the bike ride through Valencia and was really pleasant and super cool. Our children of 12 and 14 also liked this very much. She gives you good places to eat, shows you beautiful places,... We can only recommend her!

5.00With a group of friends we met Annick (Guide Valencia) in June during a guided walk and bike ride through Valencia. With the recent floods in the region, she reported on the situation on the VRT. I then contacted her and booked her for 2 fantastic guide tours of the city: a walk through the old town and a bike ride to the city of art and science and the port. She told us very animatedly about the history of Valencia, the coat of arms, the pigs with the black legs, about the leaf of the orange tree and so much more. She led us through the town hall, the station and the silk halls. She is a professionally qualified guide and we enjoyed that! Not only history and architecture, but with fun and playful facts she always fascinated us: where do you think you are a movie star when you go to the toilet, how did the bat get in the coat of arms, over the sawn-off table legs of the merchants in the silk halls, etc. She gave substance to our stay in Valencia. And we took a lot of pictures and had a nice meal in the restaurants she designated. Thank you, Annick, have fun in your job and that many city trippers can meet you and Valencia!

5.00This walk is great for the start of a city trip/holiday! Annick, who has lived in Valencia for several years, was our guide. She showed us beautiful things and also gave us many tips. She speaks calmly and very clearly. We had a nice visit to "La lonja de la seda" with her and then went to a terrace. She also showed us nice pop-up shops, which we went to again the next day.
