It's a small-group tour - there will never be more than eight guests per one guide so that there is a nice, personable feel to the tour where the group can really connect with the guide and fully immerse in this experience. 5.00Marko was a wonderful local guide. He interspersed interesting historical facts while also giving us an idea of what it's like to be a resident of the old city. He was a fun story teller and really brought the city alive for us. I am very glad that we chose to have him as our local guide rather than just walking the city walls on our own

5.00We booked the Walls of Dubrovnik walking tour eight months in advance, but about a month before our trip, one of our group members underwent major surgery that impacted mobility and endurance. Thankfully, we were the only four on the tour that day, which turned out to be a blessing. Marco, with his deep knowledge of the city and its history, immediately offered an alternative route that didn’t involve climbing the stairs or walking the wall. Bruno, our guide, adapted the tour seamlessly—without missing a beat. He made sure we still experienced the rich history and stunning sights of Dubrovnik, and his storytelling brought the city to life. Bruno also recommended a fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch, rounding out a truly memorable day. If you have mobility concerns, I would advise against booking the full wall tour due to the many stairs involved. But thanks to the team’s flexibility and thoughtfulness, we were able to enjoy a meaningful and accessible experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend Viator for your tours.

He made the tour super fun and interactive, and shared his perspective about growing up in the walled city. It was also really nice to be in a small group which could easily navigate the crowds.
