  We had a really really fun evening! We booked directly with Vietcruise which was only 5 mins from our hotel. We were served there by a really helpful lady called Lily who explained to us all the different options. Then I got a text off Ata on WhatsApp who was our guide for the evening. Needless to say he was amazing. We were the only people on this tour and on the minibus. He was very informative told us lots of information. First took us to our foot massage and waited for us there. The foot massage was very lovely and thorough, even including legs arms and neck/back quickly. He met us from there and took us into our place, the dragon theatre for the water puppets. It was amazing to watch and so interesting, exceeded my expectations. Finally we headed to the cruise and had a nice buffet dinner there and then sat out on the deck. The only complaint I’d have is between the water puppets and cruise it was a bit rushed and by the time we got to the cruise lots of people had been on for an hour before departure and had already eaten. The whole time we were on the deck of the ship, Ata was with us answering all our questions. He was an amazing guide and even now reminded us if we had any questions to just drop him a text.   Had the best time with the tour guide! Ata was the best as he explained everything thoroughly and went above and beyond. He was super nice to the end and the experience wouldn’t be the same without him.

  The show was amazing, and our guide, Bang Bang, was extremely efficient and kind. This is a must for those who want to experience an ancient Vietnamese art that has been around since the 12th century.

• Foot massage, water puppet show and dinner cruise

  We were hosted by Kaitlyn who was a very cheerful guide. She was attentive and accommodating. We had some food restrictions and she made sure to help us take care of our needs. On the dinner cruise buffet, I would advise to avoid if you are vegetarian as the selection is limited. However a very attentive waiter brought us a vegetarian plattter from the kitchen and we were so touched by this gesture. Kaitlyn then took us to the top deck for some awesome pictures and shared information throughout our trip from point to point. We will definitely ask for Kaitlyn again on future trips that we are already planning!!! Thank you so much Kaitlyn ❣️

  You could feel the nostalgia of old Vietnam as an agricultural country, the unique staging of the puppets was good, the performance was highly accomplished, and the interplay with the songs was very powerful. I recommend you watch it at least once.

  The dinner on the cruise was fantastic. the food was really good and Openda help me and my family to book the ticket for dinner. Recommend for everyone!

• Don’t Miss the Water Puppet Show and Saigon River Cruise!

  I have been to Vietnam 7 times in the last 11 years. My stays have been up to a month. On March 1st my son and I saw the Water Puppet Performance followed by a Dinner Cruise on the Saigon River. I am very hard pressed to think of a better event/memory from Vietnam. It was outstanding, in no small part because of our guide Kaitlyn! She picked us up at our hotel, gave us a thorough explanation/background to the Water Puppet Show…then shuttled and accompanied us to the Saigon River Cruise. And then delivered us back to our Hotel. She was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She made a very good event a spectacular one. I will do this again and I hope I have Kaitlyn as my guide!
