  Our captain, Nico, was excellent! He even paused so we could watch a dolphin swim nearby. Pierre was great sharing interesting history and fun facts. Both were very knowledgeable and professional even while managing some challenging, inebriated passengers.

  We boarded the double decker Water Taxi at stop #2, where we were welcomed and entertained by Eddie. Eddie was great—he kept all the passengers waiting for the next water taxi informed and organized. Answered everyone’s questions and made suggestions when appropriate.

  Nice in theory. The man and woman who were working the first stop and sold us the tickets were very nice and helpful. The water taxi wasn’t in our plans for the day, but it seemed like a fun experience and being on a boat is always nice. So we went out and enjoyed a good amount of time taking in the sights and our driver stopped at all the stops along the way. We finally decide to get off and have dinner at the 15th street fishery restaurant. Afterwards, my husband and I and another couple are waiting for the return boat to get back and one boat after another is driving past us. We question to each other what’s going on.. should be waving them in? On the initial ride the driver stopped at every stop. The drivers didn’t seem to be doing this anymore. We look at the sign posted and sure enough, it says at the bottom to wave the driver in. So of course we start doing this, and still one driver after another keeps passing us by. I look up the business phone number, and of course the office is closed for the day. Finally, after about an hour of this, we’re able to finally wave a boat in. As the driver is approaching it looks like he’s mocking waving back at me. I decide to ignore it because I was grateful someone actually stopped. We walk on the boat and I say thank you so much for stopping! Once we’re on board and ready to head out, the driver actually apologized to the other passengers for the delay and inconvenience of stopping to pick us up! What in the world! Is this normal operations? I understand it was getting towards the end of the day and I’m sure the drivers were tired, but I couldn’t believe we had such great service to start and such a disappointment to end the day. So, I guess my advise to others wanted to take the water taxi is be prepared to wait a long time, and maybe even Uber back.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Above & Beyond Service – Thank You, Captain Patrick! We’re staying at the beautiful Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel and decided to head over to Las Olas Boulevard for dinner. On the way back, we chose to try the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi—and it ended up being one of the best decisions of our trip. It was an easy walk to the stop, followed by a gorgeous boat ride through the canals, and we were dropped off right in front of our hotel. Everything about the experience was seamless… until I realized I had left my purse on the boat. Panic set in immediately. I scrambled to find the Water Taxi phone number, fully expecting to leave a message and hope for the best. Instead, after a quick recording, I was given the option to speak to a supervisor—and to my surprise, a real person picked up. That person was Captain Patrick—and he was absolutely incredible. Calm, reassuring, and immediately proactive, he asked which boat I had been on and then called the captain directly while I was still on the phone. Within seconds, he confirmed they had found my purse. Without hesitation, he coordinated a handoff to the next water taxi heading back toward my stop. Not even 10 minutes later, the boat arrived—and my purse was safely back in my hands. I truly could not have asked for a better outcome to a situation I completely created myself. The level of care, urgency, and professionalism Captain Patrick showed was beyond anything I expected. He turned a stressful moment into a story I’ll actually be grateful for. The Water Taxi is already a fun and unique way to experience Fort Lauderdale—but it’s the people like Captain Patrick who make it exceptional. Highly, highly recommend!

• Very Good Water Taxi Service

  The shuttle service was very good. The crew did a great job of explaining each stop and maintaining the shuttle schedule. I would recommend the service for anyone interested in taking a tour to see the local sites as well as the beautiful homes and yatchs

  This is a very interesting trip. I did find it very interesting . The trip was smooth and narrated. It was nice to see the different views.

  The water taxi is Fantastic,my husband and I had a wonderful time we only had a day to explore and this was the only way to go for sure the crew was fabulous and didn't really wait that long when we got on and off . We can't wait to go back next visit we will surely be doing the water taxi again. Also just a suggestion you should have the hotels on the stop advertise they have a stop or one is located close by had we known we would have stayed closer to the water taxi which we will be doing next time.

  S started out a little sketchy as we were not sure the WaterTaxi was going to pick us up. We were waiting for quite some time at Pier 66 better directions could be given on what to do for pick up other than that. The tours was great. The moderators were entertaining.

  The operator of the boat going to pompano from shooters at 530pm on saturday March 28th, 2026, decided to harass me for some reason. I felt like ai was back in Catholic school… First, he looked at my ticket on my phone and said “i’ll speak to you about your ticket later” There was nothing wrong with my ticket…I had been riding the taxi all day and no other operator had a problem with it… He was very rude and short to me when i asked a question, and spoke to me as if I were a child. The other passengers noticed this as well and there were some eye-rolls🤣 Then I made the mistake of getting up while docking…The way he yelled at me was not necessary…. The operators of the Hollywood boat and the Pop pop were amazing and helpful. The boat to Pompano, not so much… He is the reason for the 3 stars
