The fun doesn’t stop there, next, you drive a 25 minutes to west bay beach the must beautiful beach on the island crystal clear water white sand amazingly gorgeous .our last stop will be the colorful Roatan sing where you will have the opportunity to take beautiful family pictures .

5.00Driver was easy to locate getting off the cruise ship. He had cold water for us in the van with the AC going. He was very interactive and gave us a mini history overview of the island and was flexible on what we wanted to do. He was willing to stop wherever we wanted to take photos.

5.00Susan was so friendly and nice from the moment we met! She drove us to the animal sanctuary, and explained all about the island and answered questions we had. Everyone loved the excursion. The weather unfortunately wasn’t in our favor, so Susan took us to the chocolate tasting & to some shops, then right back to port. Will definitely do this excursion again if we come back! Thank you!

5.00Got off the ship and walked to the designated area where our tour guide was waiting. He then took us to the monkey and sloths, which were amazing. Also took us to a resort with a beach experience and then a little guided tour around the island to make sure we saw everything. Ricky was the best tour guide and would recommend this to anybody visiting Roatan.

1.00Enjoyed the monkey sloth experience but when taken to the beach we were told that a day pass fee would be required at $20 per person and it would include a beach chair. Since we were aware that beach chairs were not included in the tour we agreed to the price. When we arrived at the beach there were no beach chairs available. We were expected to pay the $20 each and sit at a restaurant table off the beach. This tour was a beach experience. We wanted to be on the beach. When we explained this to the tour guide he informed us that due to multiple cruise ships in port there was nothing he can do. There were no other beach clubs he could take us to. He offered to take us back to the cruise ship and we agreed. Considering a five hour tour now turned into two hours, I requested a partial refund and were denied by MJ Tours and Viator “due to the overcrowding at the beach being beyond their control.” We will now pay the extra money to book cruise ship shore excursions through the cruise lines as they use quality tour guides and stand by their experiences. Also, the 2-5 minute advertised walk to the meeting point from the ship was more like a 15 minute walk which was challenging for us with disabilities! Would most likely would never visit Roatan again and if we did, would stay on the ship!

5.00Very interesting going to the monkey and Sloth reserve. Staff was very friendly and made the experience so fun and interesting. Our driver was very friendly and drove us to each location. Must choose the paid private beach location San Simon. Friendly staff, food and drink at a reasonable price.

5.00Shauna was a great guide. We enjoyed all the animals at the sanctuary, especially the sloths. It was small but personal. We had a great tour of the island and enjoyed time at the beach.

4.00Our guide Darnell was waiting when the cruise arrived just outside the cruise parking lot. My husband & I had her to ourselves for 5 hours, she was very informative, friendly & such a pleasure to be with. Her car was clean & air-conditioned, she drove slowly so we could easily see the surrounding area. She took us for a rum tasting that was easy going with no pressure to buy but honestly we couldn't resist. We bought the chocolate rum & delicious rum cake. We then went to a monkey, sloth & bird sanctuary. It was absolutely Outstanding, we were allowed to get up close & take photos with them on us. The facilities were clean, easy to get around & the animals looked well cared for. Afterward we went to a private hotel that had cabanas, or beach chairs directly on a turquoise water beach, also showers, restrooms & a bar with food. My reason for 4 stars is only because the hotel charges to much at $20.00 each for use of their facilities & beach, no pool & no credit for food or drinks. Our guide Darnell was willing to stay as long as we wanted & afterwards took us for photos stops & a chocolate shop that we sadly took a miss on. You won't be disappointed & I hope you get Darnell as your guide.

5.00We had Alberto and he was wonderful!!!! Took us all around the island! He is very knowledgeable and a great guide. A wonderful day in Roatan!!!!
