  I’d rate this 10⭐️ if I could. Selna was very welcoming, attentive, patient, understanding. We really enjoyed our drive/tour with her. She really showed us a good time and very helpful when our son got sick from the heat and altitude. She did not care to stop and take us to a near by store to cater to our son’s need while being sick. I will definitely recommend her and for sure drive with her again when I go back.

  Our tour guide Kevin was amazing. We had a great day! Would book again. Monkeys and Sloths were fun. Beach is beautifu. Food was good.

  This was an amazing excursion! Our tour guide, Cynthia, was the BEST. She taught us so much about Roatan - it was clear she loves her island - and now we do too!! There were 8 of us ranging for 15 years old to 82 and we all loved everything about this day. The Sloth Monkey Park is a true gem and the animals are super entertaining. It was lovely walking around the park learning! Then we went to San Simon Beach Club which was so beautiful. The owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We had lounge chairs waiting for us and the water was that brilliant Caribbean blue we all dream about. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the club and then Cynthia took us back to the boat. I highly recommend this tour - and hopefully you'll get Cynthia.

  We had Phil as our guide and he was so wonderful and friendly. He told us a lot about the people and culture of Roatan, and took us to see some fun animals and then to a perfect beach club. Highly recommend San Simon. The service there was great, they had security to watch our belongings, and the water was perfection. I can’t recommend doing a small/private tour like this enough. It was so much better than the big busses or generic tours.

  This was simply amazing! Our guide really made sure we got the love and culture of the island. No rush…. Just vibes! Everything from the sloths to the local cuisine was top tier and our care and well being was always first priority. Our guide Jonathan Alonzo knew all the locals so it soon became like a second home. I recommend anyone wanting that true island experience to take a tour through these lovely people. 10/10 would recommend!

  I loved this guided tour by Phil. He was so knowledgeable and so professionally. He spoke English very well. The vehicle was comfortable (suc) with Ac. He picked us up at the pier exit (mahogany bay) and took us first to the animal sanctuary where my husband and I were able to see and interact with some of the animals including a sloth. I was told in the near future there would be a change to holding them due to stricter animal conservation rules. He then took us to a beach club that had full amenities including WiFi, bathrooms, umbrellas, food and drinks. The water was so clear, not overly crowded, and vendors selling local crafts and souvenirs. The weather was perfect and we had a splendid day. Phil stayed at the beach club until we were ready to leave back to the ship. I definitely think it was worth having a private guide over any of the usual group excursions.

  We had the most incredible day in Roatan thanks to our amazing tour guide, Allen, with Roatan Toucan Adventures! From the moment we met him, Allen was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our family had the best experience possible. He took us to see the monkeys and sloths, which was such a fun and unforgettable encounter. Then we went snorkeling in the crystal-clear water—absolutely breathtaking! We ended the day relaxing at a beautiful beach, and it was the perfect way to wrap up an adventure-filled day. Allen went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, safe, and so much fun. Our family made memories that will truly last a lifetime. If you’re visiting Roatan, we can’t recommend Allen and Roatan Toucan Adventures enough!

  

  

  

  

  

• Great experience with private driver

  We do a lot of tours, and this was one of the best. We booked this excursion while on a New Year's cruise, and the port was busy! The tour operator was very responsive to all my questions beforehand and provided clear communication on where to meet up for the tour. Kristi was our private driver, and it felt like we were touring the island with family. We were able to interact with many of the animals at the sanctuary, and the San Simon Beach club was one of the better places on the beach. There's a ton of activities to choose from, although we brought our own snorkels and snorkeled by the rocks at the end of the beach. The entrance fee to the beach club is separate ($15/person) and includes towels, chairs, umbrellas, toilets, and changing rooms. The food and drinks are a little pricey, but we ended up buying tamales and cotton candy for cheap from one of the many vendors hocking their goods on the beach. Kristi took excellent care of us, and she is what made this tour so special! She took us to all the places we wanted to go and made sure we were back at the port on time. It was so nice to not be crammed in a van with a bunch of other people. Make sure to bring enough cash to tip the animal sanctuary guide and your driver. We would definitely book with them again!

  Cynthia- the best! She gave us a great tour around the city, to give us a great perspective of all that we could do. Showed us how to visit on a budget and how to visit without a budget. She gave us options for our day, since we just planned to go to West Beach. We enjoyed the monkeys, birds and the sloths. My friends and I totally recommend Roatán Tuscan Adventures if you decide to visit Roatán. Thank you, Cynthia for being such a great person full of knowledge.
