Rollingdale Winery
Rollingdale is a family-owned farm gate winery in stunning West Kelowna, B.C., where the land's history is rooted in orchards of apples, peaches, and cherries. After lying bare for years, vines were first planted in 1999, including Marechal Foch, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. The winery opened in 2004 with its debut vintage, and over time, expanded its vineyard to include Merlot, Chardonnay, and more Pinot Blanc. Certified organic since 2007, Rollingdale takes pride in its organic practices, growing grapes and crafting wines that reflect their deep commitment to sustainability and the land. Little Straw Vineyards
The Slamka family made their mark on West Kelowna's wine scene after moving from Czechoslovakia and planting their first vineyard in 1969. Originally, they planned to sell grapes to big commercial wineries, but by 1996, the three Slamka sons had launched Little Straw Vineyards! Their debut release in 1994 captured the essence of West Kelowna's summer grapes, and ever since, their wines have reflected decades of passion and tradition. With new vineyard blocks and modern winemaking techniques, their 12-acre parcel has produced unique wines like the fan-favorite Auxerrois in their Frizzante and Tapestry, as well as their delicious Foch wine. After over 50 years, the Slamka family passed the torch to Kalala Organic Estate Winery in 2021, leaving behind a lasting legacy in every bottle. 5.00We took the Sunset Sipster Dinner Tour and it was amazing! Jaz our tour guide was excellent. He went above and beyond to make it an excellent experience for us and the other couple. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable. We went to several wineries and tasted numerous delicious wines. The evening concluded with a lovely sunset dinner at a lovely golf course.

5.00We went on the West Kelowna wine tour with a group of 8 friends and had such an amazing time! Communication before the tour was clear and easy, which made planning stress-free. Our guide, Jaz, was fantastic – super friendly, accommodating, and made the day even more fun. He played whatever music we wanted and even took lots of photos for us throughout the day. I’d highly recommend this tour, especially for a group of friends looking for a fun and memorable experience!

We were well taken care of by Jaz - from the text communications, to the pick up/drop off, to the wine tour itself! We went on the Osoyoos/Oliver wine tour with Sip Happens last year and loved it so much we book their wine tour again this year.

5.00Did a full day tour in Osoyoos with Bob. It was a wonderful and enjoyable tour. Bob was great, picked excellent wineries for us and a great place for lunch. His knowledge of the are and the wines made for a great day. Definitely recommend Sip Happens and Bob. Later that week did two half day tours in Kelowna. One day was on the west side with Lofty and the other half day with Harry on the East side. Both were very knowledgeable of the area, the wineries and accommodated our needs. Highly recommend Sip Happens.

1.00We didn’t get to do our Lake Country wine tour, we were moved to the west Kelowna wine tour because sip’s booking system doesn’t recognize location, even though we were only 20 minutes away from Lake Country. The bus we were picked up in had no working air conditioning on a very hot day. We were late to our first wine tasting because the driver wasn’t checking her directions properly, resulting in our other wine tastings running late and then being denied our last wine tasting because our driver got us there an hour late than scheduled. We asked the driver to call ahead at each of our locations to let them know we were coming to avoid delays, but she wouldn’t listen. The company would not give us a partial refund for this awful day. Choose another company!!!

5.00This wine tour was a great addition to our bachelorette! Our tour guide Regan was amazing. She not only made us feel welcomed right from the beginning when she picked us up from our airbnb but she was also super attentive and even pulled out portable fans at one winery when we were sitting outside. She took lots of pictures for us, had lots of knowledge about wine and make sure we stayed hydrated with water. Thanks sip happens for a great day!! ☺️

5.00Such a fun experience! Our tour guide Jaz, was amazing and was full of interesting facts about the wineries we visited. Each place had its own unique beauty about it, Frind was for sure a stand out favorite with the beach front tasting! Don’t skip out on this if you’re in West Kelowna!
