Your West Maui Snorkel adventure departs from Kaanapali Beach. Along the way keep your eyes open for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, bottle nose dolphins and during the winter months you can experience the humpback whales that migrate from Alaska to our Maui waters. The Captain will determine the best sites to visit that day based upon current water conditions. Once in the water, you will observe beautiful tropical fish, honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles), vibrant reef, and hopefully some other wildlife surprises. Then after our second location, back on board you will enjoy a buffet lunch and will be offered access to our premium beers, hand crafted cocktails and other libations as we take a leisurely cruise back to Ka’anapali Beach.

5.00Great boat, spotlessly clean and super helpful,, friendly staff. We got lucky and saw quite a few early whales! Oh, the breakfast was excellent too! We are here two weeks and have already booked for next week!

5.00We had an amazing day with the crew of Sea Maui. They were on point with everything from confirmation, location, admission fee, food, music, answering questions, photos and much more. There was plenty of room for each member of our group to pick a comfortable spot. All the crew members were attentive, informative and made the trip fun and exciting. We were fortunate to see dolphins, whales and turtles. They made my first snorkeling experience one I will never forget. Thank you Sea Maui! I highly recommend. 🌸

5.00We booked this trip specifically for our first time snorkeling because of the flexibility of the itinerary. This excursion said it would choose which locations to snorkel based on the days weather and conditions. We traveled in the winter, which is the rainy season, and did not want to get stuck snorkeling in a location with bad visibility or conditions. We lucked out by having a great sunny day and our snorkeling locations were stunning! They can't guarantee seeing any specific wildlife, but our group saw a pod of spinner dolphins, a juvenile whale, multiple turtles and so many kinds of fish I couldn't possibly name them all! Plus the included breakfast, lunch, and drinks were awesome. The guides were friendly and helpful, showing everyone how to properly use and secure the provided equipment to have the best experience. The boat also had a second level underneath to get some relief from the sun if you want, and a bathroom. 10 out of 10

5.00Captain Linda and her crew were amazing. Every crew member was constantly checking our needs or wants. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Highly highly recommend you ask for captain Linda’s boat and crew for any your water needs. The added whale jail multiple times during our return from snorkel trip was amazing!! The snorkeling was great. The overall experience provided by this crew was just over the top. Thank you Captain Linda for such a great half day trip!! We will always ask for your boat no matter our sea Maui needs!!

5.00Diving with Turtles November 2025. Friends I've had the opportunity to swim with sea turtles in Hawaii before, but this time the water clarity and the number of turtles were exceptional. At one point, we saw eight at once. Some were on the surface, others resting on the bottom, and still others swimming nearby. There were also plenty of fish, though not as abundant as in other places. On the boat, the crew was great and repeatedly came around to offer a choice of drinks from the open bar. They also provided a good variety of buffet-style snacks, including pork burgers, breaded chicken, macaroni and cheese, and more. We did some snorkeling, ate, and did some more. The second time, the clarity wasn't as good, but it was still enjoyable. The crew was helpful and friendly throughout the process of bringing passengers directly from the beach after a brief orientation. We only visited one site, but in this case, one was definitely enough.

5.00The crew and staff with Sea Maui were amazing. We were fortunate to encounter a whale on the way to the reef and the crew was extremely respectful and as excited as the passengers. They turned off the engines and we observed from a distance as the whale swam around us and breeched multiple times. it was an incredible and unforgettable event! After getting to the snorkeling site, we had a great time and the professional photographer's pictures were truly representative of our experience. The wind picked up and was a bit strong, so for safety reasons we all agreed to cut the "dive" a bit short; but, all participants felt that we had gotten a great adventure. BUT ... Sea Maui felt that we should have had a better adventure, so at their discretion they refunded a portion of the trip to all participants! This was totally unexpected (and not really necessary ... we all thought we had gotten more than our money's worth from this adventure).

5.00Simply the best, a must to do in Maui!! The crew was funny, attentive, helpful, informative and showed us the best time ever!! We saw whales , dolphins, flying fish, shark, tons of turtles, coral, a white tipped shark, and a seal!! A must do for all!!

5.00What a great day! Linda, Molly, Charlie, and Emily were so wonderful and made sure we had a great experience. We saw whales, dolphins, tons of turtles, and beautiful fish. The crew was so knowledgeable and gave us awesome details about history throughout the day! The check in was super easy which I love. I would highly recommend booking with this team. The food was good for breakfast and lunch. Aloha 🌺🤙🏻

5.00We had a wonderful time! The crew was so welcoming and took time out to chat with everyone. They shared information about the island and the marine life. The snorkeling equipment was great and we were able to see beautiful fish, an eel and a shark while snorkeling. The breakfast and lunch were very good and the crew made sure everyone had drinks throughout the entire trip. A great experience! So glad we did this.
