A well-rounded overview of Westport history over the centuries without a moment of boring details, his personal presentation was from the heart as only a true Westport native could deliver. Humor, stories and legends, facts, and hopes for the future were intertwined creating a sense of wonder...and a "I want to move here" feeling.

His engaging and frequently amusing anecdotes of Westport revealed his love of the town, its history and its current inhabitants. This was evidenced by the interactions with locals throughout the walk. Highly recommended start to your visit to Westport.

5.00This was the best walking tour I've been on. Stephen combined humor with his facts and didn't just throw out dates. This little town has interesting history and truly defines community. Stephen did an excellent job of relaying both of these to the participants of this tour

5.00Such a wonderful tour of a fabulous town! I was in town from the US to visit relatives. My whole life, I've heard stories of Westport, but I learned so much more from this tour! Our guide, Ed, was knowledgeable and energetic. The tour stops give a nice variety of info about the culture and history of Westport. When you visit Westport, you must have a drink at Matt Malloy's, see Croagh Patrick, and take the Westport Walking Tour!
