Whale watching is one of the most impressive activities in nature you can participate in. During winter we combine the whale watching with dolphin watching, so on this tour you have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable encounter with humpback whales that are the most spectacular, these friendly giants arrive to Puerto Vallarta to mate and give birth, during the winter months. We can also enjoy different species of dolphins such as bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, spinner dolphins, rough toothed dolphins and with luck we can find Orcas or False Orcas. We can also see giant mantas and marine turtles. Our guides are specialists in cetaceans, Biologists with Masters Degree in Marine Ecology, Science Journalist and Professional Wildlife Photographer (National Geographic magazine and Animal Planet). We have some research programs with whales and dolphins, and during the tour we will share with you this information and you will have the opportunity to participate on our research. Your participation on our tour it’s what makes our research possible, and our research and experience helps us to GUARANTEE 100% that we can find the animals if not your money back.

5.00My wife and I have done this excursion twice now and I highly recommend. The guides are experienced, funny, and make it well worth it. We saw whales, dolphins, flying fish and sting rays jumping.

5.00We went on February 26, 2026 with Jemma the guide and Cesar the Captain and it was fantastic!! Multiple whale sightings, dolphin and other marine life! We saw breaching and tails. They were both very kind, funny, and informative. Highly recommend this tour and the boat was comfy and covered too. :-)

5.00Gemma was great and so was the captain. We saw many whales and learned so much! We saw babies, females, males, sea turtles, dolphins and a sea snake! We even got to see a baby breach! It was a small boat so we could zip around fast! I tend to get motion sickness and with 2 Dramamine and the smooth morning waters I was completely fine. Thank you so much for a fun trip!

5.00This tour is phenomenal. This was my third whale watch tour with this team and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our original tour date was canceled due to the lockdown in PV and the Wildlife connections team worked with us to go out the day the city opened back up, and it was a beautiful celebration. We saw so many whales very close including babies. We also saw dolphins, birds and a turtle. Gemma and the team are wonderful. Do this tour, it is magical!

5.00This was worth every penny! We were a bit concerned because our booking was “pending” and had not yet been approved, but some others who booked it didn’t show. The pre-tour briefing by biologist Camilla was excellent! So informative throughout the tour as well. And what a tour! So many whales — fighting males, moms & babies, and more! Also dolphins, a sea turtle, big fish, and lots of sea birds. Lunch sandwich was delicious. We loved the size of the boat. Captain César & Marine Biologist Camilla were so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about providing us a great experience! We would go again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

5.00Not only did we experience the thrill of seeing a number of majestic Humpback whales, including a frolicking baby and her mama, but also the bonus of a pod of dolphins! Our guide, Camilla was not only knowledgeable, but also passionate about these oceanic beauties and she was as thrilled as we all were to enjoy the experience. Our captain and navigator, Tommy, was, indeed, the “whale whisperer”, locating a number of whales for us to see. We highly recommend Wildlife Connection!

5.00This is a wonderful exploration of whales and dolphins with a marine biologist. Learned a great deal about the behavior and habits of these beautiful animals. We saw MANY whales including a mother and baby and a few dolphins that were trailing the whales. Well worth your time and money!

5.00Although there is no guarantee that whales or dolphins will show up, we learned facts about these fascinating creatures, and we ended seeing quite a good deal of whales. Two children in our tour were delighted.
