The total duration of this tour can vary, typically influenced by factors beyond our control. On average, the boat activity lasts about 5 hours. However, this duration may extend due to weather conditions, the location of the whale sharks, and the number of swimming opportunities. Additionally, the transfer time from your hotel to our pier varies based on your location and current traffic conditions. Including transfers, expect the entire tour to last between 7 and 12 hours

5.00This whale shark tour was the best for our group of 8, with 4 kids ranging from 4 to 13. The experience was made even more wonderful by our guide Alma who was nothing short of magical, talking us through and teaching us and coaching us the whole way. We were so lucky to each get two wonderful swims each with a whale shark! Once in a lifetime experience and we bought all the pictures to capture the memories! The snorkel and boat float time were also really nice and we enjoyed our snacks and time in the water. It was a beautiful day, one we won’t soon forget. Also, take the Dramamine!

5.00We were picked up on time but our guide (Dory) who was really lovely and very helpful. Told us all about what the day would entail and some guidelines about swimming with the whale sharks. We were also given snacks, drinks and anti sickness tablets and taken to the port. On the boat both guides and the captain were excellent, kept us topped up with soft drinks as we needed. Sadly no tour out that day saw any Whale Sharks, our boat went the furthest out as well but still no sightings which when you are dealing with nature there is nothing you can do! The only negative we had was the sea sickness, it was quite rough seas but the staff on board helped us to feel better and were so lovely. We stopped at isle mujeres on our way back to Cancun and we got some food on the boat which was delicious.

5.00Best day ever, 07 june 2026, 0500 pick up from Riu Tequila, few more pick up then straight to Cancun, wetsuits are available to hire if you want and long sleeved tops and other protection from the sun to purchase if you want ( no sun cream allowed) take sickness tablets if you get sea sick is a must. Our crew consisted of 'The Captain, Alex,Mac and junior who were the best, the day was made even more magical because of their enthusiasm. We had 2 dives with these magnificent creatures of the sea, make sure your mask is on tight as once your in the water you have no time to adjust it as everything happens quickly, listen to the tour guide and you'll have the best experience, we then snorkeled in a different area which was brilliant. Then had dinner on the beautiful beach, plenty refreshments served. I did suffer from sea sickness even after taking pills along with a cew others but the tour guides were brilliant Alex provided me with a peppermint balm for my hand which helped and they all went above and beyond to make sure we were OK. I would recommend this experience to everyone who is physically able too. Ask for the above crew to have an unforgettable experience.

5.00I had an amazing time again with the crew! Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure and a great time. We swam right next to the whale sharks with the help of our captain, sailor and guide. We also snorkeled and saw beautiful colored fish. Luis was my tour guide and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have a fun adventure
