  It started off good, the captain and first mate made their introductions, went through safety rules and had good energy. The first mate spent a little time telling us what we're looking as we were heading out into the ocean and then that was the last we heard from him for almost 3 hours. I get you can't control if we see any wildlife, but I expected some interaction and engagement. Bring us along the journey, give us updates on what's going on, where we're heading, what we're looking for. Teach us about the types of whales and sea life that come through here. I know they have it in them because we got that info about the sea lions as we were pulling back into the harbor.

• Too many people in a tiny boat

  The small boat was overcrowded and many did not have seating and others are squeezed into 3 tiny benches. The water was rough and very uncomfortable without seating. No whale seen in the entire trip. A total scam.

  Our family loved it!! We saw numerous humpback whales and enormous groups of sea lions swimming just like dolphins. The whole process was smooth and the sun finally came out to perfect the experience :)

  The crew was amazing and very knowledgeable. They were patient with the kids and super helpful when one was feeling sick. They made the experience Amazing! We saw whales dolphins and got to see whales breach. It was so fun.

  Great experience! We saw a bunch if humpback whales and sea lions. The crew was very knowledgeable about whale migration and interesting facts about the Morro Bay Area. Thank you for a great time it was well worth it.

  My friend and I went whale watching with Lost Isle in the morning from 9:30 to 12:30. It was a perfect, calm day and we saw gray and humpback whales. The boat was well equipped with a bathroom and the guide was helpful and informative. They left on time and check-in was easy. This is a very good operation and I highly recommend it.

  Booked this last minute about 4 days before. Lost Isle Adventure was easy to find in a nice location.We took the 9 am tour. It was a beautiful sail and we saw grey and humpback whales. The guide was informative and friendly. This was worth coming from Avila Beach to Morro Bay. Highly recommend!

  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and comfortable boat. We spotted whales 3 different times in the distance, but they were gone each time when we got to where they surfaced.
