For zodiac children under 6 years old are not allowed.
If you are traveling from Québec City or Charlevoix, it is recommended to choose the Baie-Ste-Catherine departure instead of Tadoussac. The experience is identical, as the boat will pick up passengers from both locations.
We recommend that you dress warmly even in summer, as the temperature on the water can get cooler than on land.
Our fleet contains 24 and 60-passenger Zodiacs. The choice of boat will be based on logistical reasons, therefore the size of the boat cannot be guaranteed.
Cruises operate rain or shine unless weather conditions pose a safety risk to passengers. Rest assured, the boat features an enclosed area for your comfort.
To ensure your safety and in accordance with Transport Canada standards, departure times may be adjusted if weather conditions or mechanical issues arise.
Zodiac excursions are not advisable, and even prohibited for certain persons such as young children (under the age of 6), pregnant women, people suffering from articulation, back, or autonomy problems.

Whale Guarantee: Our sighting rate is extremely high, but as the marine park is a natural environment, sometimes mammals can be more elusive. Whales but cramped boat.

3.00Nice boat ride. Went on 60 person inflatable. Would have preferred 30 person instead to see better. We were put in the bow of boat facing backwards. It was cramped and awkward to see. We didn't get to pick. It was based on line up. Also, boat we were on was predominantly French speaking. While guide was bilingual, she spent more time elaborating in French. We did see whales and that was beautiful. If I were to go again, I would opt for a private or semi private excursion. I would recommend going but speak up about seating.

5.00Wow! We saw a Humpback Whale, Minke & Beluga. The boat trip was great, we didn’t get as wet as we expected and it wasn’t very bumpy. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I would do it again!

2.00Not the best whale watching boat experience!!we have been whale watching in many countries and this must be the worse!the zodiac seats were all wrong !!we all faced each other!so you couldn’t have a very good view !the captain spoke in French!and wasn’t really interested if you could hear/understand what she was saying!!we had a 20 second look at a minke whale and a 10 second look at a fin whale !my partner didn’t see anything!!hey but that’s wildlife!!we saw some belugas on the way back not very near!!and one of the other passengers explained to me as I couldn’t understand what the captain had said!! That she wasn’t allowed to stop for belugas as they are protected!! Very business orintated!!

1.00Very disappointing! The unpleasant feeling of a tourist catch... 1 full day lost to finally see the back of an almost tame whale, used to the place.. Nothing else on the horizon and the certainty that no one has ever seen anything else... Fortunately the coastal road between quebec and bay st catherine is pretty!
