Search for whales, dolphins, sea lions and other exciting marine life! All cruises are narrated by expert captains who will educate you on the abundant ocean life on the coast. Trips are 2 hours long, plenty of time to discover the world that lies beneath. Remember that sightings of marine life are guaranteed.

The doubt they had about seeing a whale from the beginning was disappointing. I d9nt think it was a good time of year but they guaranteed to see one or a free visit in a year. That's not true either. You get 30% off. Go somewhere else.

Great experience! The boat ride was smooth and we went out a lot farther than expected. Saw hundreds of dolphins and a whale!

I traveled with a five year old and it wasn’t what we expected. The ride out to where the whales are is very long (we rode about 45 minutes off the coast) and choppy. Of course the captain doesn’t control the water but I think for parents wanting a fun, breezy excursion it may not work. There’s also no narration or “tour” during the way out so you’re just riding rough water. We did finally see whales which was really beautiful. They move quickly but we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I got sea sick (which I don’t blame anyone for) but the deckhand chastised me for using the bathroom, instead of helping me. Overall, if you’re a serious whale watcher this could be worthwhile. For us, it was not particularly enjoyable.

Dana point is a nice area with cute shops and restaurants at the marina. The catamaran was very nice. The captain worked tirelessly to find us some marine life and after 40 minutes we found a pod of 30 dolphins. They were beautiful and fun to watch and staff educated us. No whales though; per staff the whale sightings have been minimal this summer season.

Great experience went early September and we got to see lots of dolphins and a humpback whale - the team stayed out longer so we got a good viewing as we saw it late on the tour. The guys did a great job tracking one down and kept a respectful distance. Thank you.

We had an amazing time. We only got to see dolphins no whales but they gave us a voucher to come back since we didn't see any which was amazing. And the kids had a great time.

I’m sure the crew knew there were no whales around the day we went so the naturalist was very brief with her information. Most of the guests could not even hear her. Near the end we did see dolphins but mostly it was just a long boat ride.

We didn’t see whales but it was a beautiful day & calm water. We saw plenty of dolphin & seals that was beautiful.

While in town visiting my son, he and I went on this Whale Watching Excursion. While we didn't see any whales, a very large pod of dolphins playfully hung out with the boat; we even saw a bunch of babies with their mamas. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely do this again!
