We saw spinner dolphins and a whale on our dolphin-watching tour. The crew was terrific, really took care of us. They waited patiently, providing us with information, until the dolphins all came to us and put on a spectacular show. Then we suddenly saw a whale with its gorgeous tail.

We had a truly amazing experience! I was a little nervous at first, but our guide was incredible, the captain was fantastic, and we felt completely safe the whole time. We saw several whales—including a baby breaching! It was beautiful, fun, and unforgettable. I’d absolutely recommend this—such a great organization doing meaningful work.

It was a fun trip, the Captain (Captain T) and his crew was safety conscious and very professional. Sam was our “Cruise Director” and it was her first time talking about whales and she did a great job. The only down side is that we did the tour at the end of the season and saw just a few whales. It is not the fault of the tour company, it was just the luck of the draw. We would recommend it to our friends and family, just go earlier in the whale season.

Very fun, great energetic crew! I really enjoyed this experience, smaller boat with not as many people so it felt personal.

I come to Maui this time of year to see the whales. We did this tour twice. Our guide (both times) was informative. Of course, because this is nature, there are no guarantees, and each outing comes with its own adventure. We had many, up close whale sitings! It was a great experience!

The Pacific Whale Foundation that runs the tour is a non-profit organization. For years, the protection of the oceans and whales has been a priority here. The tour is logically completely in English - but in the two hours everything (and I really mean everything) about the behavior, life etc. The whale explains. You can even ask questions that are easily answered. Now for the essentials: Yes we saw whales: in March even very many and we are still impressed - highlights were two jumping whales that wouldn't stop at all - which was certainly lucky - but super impressive. As a conservation organization, they also drive no closer than 100 yards to the whales. Completely successful excursion with a great sustainable organization. On board was water free
