On this private whale watching tour we set sail heading out into Bandersbay in search for the famous Humpback whales that keep coming back to visit every year during the months of December through March. Our focus is on comfort, unique experiences and personal service while making sure the environment is protected and respected in every way possible.

Oh my goodness! I requested a sunset tour and Fernando and Mitscon (sorry if I misspelled) were willing to accommodate me. I was the only one and felt like queen for a day. The day FAR exceeded my expectations. Every part of it was perfect. Anything I wanted/needed was provided. They took all my pictures and made sure I had the best views. Their passion and knowledge about the area was amazing. Drinks were excellent, too. Fernando and his sailor were kind, fun, and very attentive. I WILL go on another tour with them. THANKS SO MUCH Little suggestion: Maybe have vegis/fruit to go with the FANTASTIC Fernando guacamole and chips.

Our family (8 of us including an infant) did a great private tour in December 2021. We had the best whale/dolphin watching experience we've ever had. It was amazing seeing the humpback whales and dolphins in action. We also did some good snorkeling at Los Arcos. The crew was very accommodating and tailored the tour to our specific areas of interested.

My wife and I met Fernando in 2003 while staying at the Westin. I have been on over 20 trips with him and they all have been amazing! He has always taken such great care of my entire family and friends. If you want a special day in PV, this is a must!!!

Throughly enjoyed this boat trip to watch the whales in puerto vallarta. Boat is clean. Crew pay attention to the detail. Guacamole was delicious. Taking a private boat was such a good idea. No concerns regarding COVID and large groups. We could change our schedule to suit us. More personalized. The whales came out and we even saw breaching. COVID safe crew. I felt comfortable. Looking forward to our next trip.

This was amazing. Captain Fernando was right in there getting us the prime view of all the whales. They had drinks and guacamole, included in the price. I highly recommend this boat and crew. Going to use him when we go fishing.
Had a whale of a time!

Fernando and Fernando Jr took our small group of 6 on an incredible whale watching tour. We saw a pod of at least 6 whales that we followed for almost 2 hours. They were so close we could feel the spray and hear their calls. Absolutely amazing! The drinks and fresh guacamole hit the spot. Just be forewarned, no bathrooms close by so even when you get off the boat be prepared to wait to find one nearby. Will absolutely do this again.

Truly enjoyed this experience. The boat is super comfy -- great seating, plenty of room - and the crew were friendly and helpful. They serve drinks and snacks during the 3 hour tour which make for a most enjoyable time. The knowledge of the captain for where to find the whales and how to wait patiently for them was superb. We saw many whales floating and were even blessed to see a few BREACH and jump out of the water very close to us! A truly fantastic experience and one I would easily do again!

We went with La Vida Bella on the private boat (7 of us) to explore the bay and see whales. We all had a great, even better than expected time! Of course, seeing so many whales right near us only enhanced the experience - but Fernando and his son were superb guides (and captain and hosts) even if the whales hadn’t shown up. Everything from reserving, paying via PayPal, the comfort of the boat, and communication from Ashley about details, etc was perfect. Not only that, but we had to start a little earlier than normal and they were waiting for us promptly at 8:30am. As a very well traveled group, with some of us living in PV, we all agreed La Vida Bella is a gem in the area and a very worthwhile outing !

This day trip was amazing! Fernando picked us up at the old pier in Old Vallarta, (which was lovely since all other tours take off from Marina), we had ages ranging from 5-73 and everyone felt safe and taken care of. Fernando and his deckhand kept the boat clean, made delicious margaritas and lemonade for the kids, and found the whales, which made the trip terrific! I only wished we would have done this earlier in the trip, so we could have done two day trips! We had some nervous boaters (my mom and mother in law) and by the end were out of their life jackets laughing! Both moms took Gravel and it was a good precaution, but Fernando made the big swells totally bearable with his terrific driving!
