Our cocktail tour! From the mill to the still, whiskey has been a cornerstone in Pittsburgh's history. Come downtown for our whiskey tour where you will discover how whiskey has fueled political, labor and social movements throughout the region. Begin and end your tour in style with a Prohibition cocktail at the Ritual House and an Old Fashioned at the Rebel Room. As we walk the streets of Downtown, along iconic architecture, you'll learn about the violent Whiskey Rebellion in Pittsburgh, hidden former (as well as existing!) speakeasies around the city, and how Prohibition affected the region.

**Please note: This is NOT a bar crawl but a whiskey history tour that includes two handcrafted cocktails. This event is 21+ only, no minors please.

John was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable that we learned a lot about a city we have thought we knew much about. We enjoyed our time. He made it fun and found spots for photos that were great. Be prepared for walking so dress for it.

This was such a cool and fun tour! I am from the Pittsburgh area and I still learned a lot about the history. The cocktails were delicious and the tour guide was excellent. Would recommend this tour who likes whiskey and learning about history.

John was great. The tour was a great balance of history about the town, buildings, whiskey, and prohibition. The duration of the tour was perfect and the couple places we stopped for drinks were both unique! Having a couple options for the drink you get at each place would be a good upgrade.

We participated in the Whiskey Rebellion Tour on Saturday, Nov. 1 with John as your tour guide. John was very knowledgeable and kept the time moving. We had some great drinks as two bars in downtown Pittsburgh. If you are into this kind of thing, I highly recommend this company! The tour cost $45 / person. It lasted about 2.5 hours. There were about 10 of us in the group. The Atmosphere was light and pleasant. Thanks.

It was both informative and incredibly fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Pittsburgh history, architecture, and whisky. I loved the trivia sessions we played while enjoying our whisky drinks. It gave people on the tour a chance to bond and get to know each other. Don’t hesitate to do this tour. John is an excellent tour guide. He walks and talks at a great pace. I’d actually take this tour again with him the next time I’m in Pittsburgh.

This tour was super fun and informative, regarding both the Whiskey Rebellion and Prohibition Era and the city of Pittsburgh itself. John, the (authentic) Scottish tour guide, was FANTASTIC and absolutely made the experience what it was! He was incredibly knowledgeable, extremely personable, and made us feel like he'd known us for years. He also made everything about the tour feel a little bit "extra". What does this mean? I guess you'll have to take the tour yourself to find out!
