The first part is very exciting, with big waves and long rapids. Then we stop for a picnic lunch, at the most scenic beach on the river. The second one is more relaxed, the river enters the true lower Caribbean at which time your surroundings take on a jungle character and the wildlife is more plentiful. At the end of the descent we will take you to our Exploration Center where you can change, shower and relax while enjoying a cold beverage of your choice.

5.00We were moved to the full day Pacuare River tour since the Reventazon River was low. I am glad we did! We had class 3 and 4 rapids the entire time. Our tour guide, Andres, was great. The breakfast and lunch was excellent! Please remember to tip the ladies who make your food, because it’s very well needed for this adventure. Listen to the safety talk, because these rapids are no joke. Great weather, great guides, and PURA VIDA!

5.00A group of 8 couples went on the trio through our cruise ship. We were not disappointed and had a blast. The guides were phenomenal and very helpful for those of use who were first timers. Rivers was rough in some places but nothing that would be dangerous for first timers. Lots of bantering between the boats but only added to the fun. I nice simple lunch after the trip which was greatly appreciated.
