The three-time Australian Gold Award-winning tour visits the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet lookout and offers two snorkelling opportunities on the fringing Great Barrier Reef.
Thundercat is designed for stability and speed, so it’s perfect for passengers concerned about seasickness. The all-inclusive package departing from Airlie Beach is suitable for families, couples, and groups wanting to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Set sail for a day of swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing in the Whitsundays on this full-day tour with Red Cat Adventures. Cruise around the islands on Thunder Cat, a high-speed catamaran, and discover the colorful underwater world of the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef as you stop at two snorkeling hotspots. You will cruise at high speeds to Hill Inlet Lookout and take the famous walk to the lookout for stunning views of Whitehaven Beach. After taking some magical photos you can enjoy some beach time and dip your toes in the crystal clear water.

5.00The day was great and it is a beautiful place. Red Cat Adventures made sure to provide us with a great time. Although I felt people on the same boat didn't quite know what did they sign up for. It is a speed boad - so it is a thrilling, bumpy and windy adventure. - The captain had a proper pirate laugh and bit crazy which made the day quite funny and kept the energy up. Great spots to snorkel and the beach looks amazing. We just wish we had a little bit more time at the beach at the end of the tour.
Fantastic day out highly recommended.

5.00Had a great day out with a very friendly crew. We set off on time and then shot across to the first stop on one of the fast boats. Was nice that we got to walk to the beach ourselves because lots of other groups were being herded around in a crowd on Whitsunday Island for the lookout. Lunch was delicious and it was nice we got to have this in the bay at anchor before setting off on the next part of the trip. Got to go to 2 different snorkelling spots and saw some amazing coral and sea life. Crew had cold filtered water available throughout the day on board for anyone who needed to fill up their water bottle. There was also a toilet on board although it sounded pretty primitive so we didn’t use it! Really recommend this tour, good way to spend the time around here.

5.00We had su h a great day with Kobi, Flynn and Shawn! The snorkel time was so long we saw lots of fish and amazing corals. The lunch was more than enough and satisfying after the beautiful whitehaven island.

5.00Had the most awesome day out with JARRED, ALLY AND REECE. These guys were an absolute blast and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and having a great time. Ally’s knowledge should be commended. Lunch was delicious and the snorkeling was fabulous Highly recommend

5.00The Red Cat crew, Randall, Kobi and Flynn ensure that we had a fabulous day out! Would highly recommend this trip if you love exploring new places. The snorkeling was great, we saw so many fish and the coral was some of the most beautiful we have seen. Organisation was very good.

5.00First time snorkelling didn’t know what to expect, but thanks to Red Cat Adventures it was a memorable experience. We loved every second of it, even the washing machine… thx Kurt. Jordy and his “new” trainee was amazing. The whole crew kept us all entertained.

5.00From booking through to the end of our day out, the staff here are amazing. I would like to mention Luke, who booked us in and the crew - Jordy, Kurt and Reece who looked after us on the boat and the amazing bus ladies - they all made the whole experience fantastic. We took three kids onboard and when they had had enough, Jordy popped in the boat and ensured they felt part of the whole day. The kids found them to be kind and super friendly. Great tour!
