The three-time Australian Gold Award-winning tour visits the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet lookout and offers two snorkelling opportunities on the fringing Great Barrier Reef.
Thundercat is designed for stability and speed, so it’s perfect for passengers concerned about seasickness. The all-inclusive package departing from Airlie Beach is suitable for families, couples, and groups wanting to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Set sail for a day of swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing in the Whitsundays on this full-day tour with Red Cat Adventures. Cruise around the islands on Thunder Cat, a high-speed catamaran, and discover the colorful underwater world of the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef as you stop at two snorkeling hotspots. You will cruise at high speeds to Hill Inlet Lookout and take the famous walk to the lookout for stunning views of Whitehaven Beach. After taking some magical photos you can enjoy some beach time and dip your toes in the crystal clear water.

5.00We had an excellent day out on our tour. Good value for money, was fun, educational and stunning part of the world. The crew were great so a shout out to Randall, Hannah and Trisha. They were very helpful, funny and had a good playlist. There was high tide so Whitehaven beach was a bit disappointing but still was gorgeous and we had a blast snorkelling.

5.00Best day out with our family of four kept safe and comfortable by the best crew Sean and Glen ! Bring swimmers, refillable water bottle, sunscreen and a towel. Red Cat adventures provide - a great sense of humour, music ( yes we sang along to all of it ) a beautiful lunch and snacks - fruit sticks and chocolate brownies. Stinger suits and snorkel gear all included. Even though we didn’t see the famous “George”, we spotted a few turtles! Magnificent reef and variety of fish - large and small. The cost is so well worth it. Scenery is beyond gorgeous. Whitehaven beach is spectacular! Then to end the day , the courtesy bus transfer was a blessing ! Great end to close off a perfect day with Donna’s friendliness driving us safely to our resort !

5.00Such a fun day out. We snorkelled in two spots and then stopped to have lunch, which was cold meat roll, noodles, potato salad and pesto pasta. We then went for a walk up to the Whitehaven Beach lookout and had time to swim in the beach. It was a perfect day and the staff were great.

5.00We had an amazing time on our snorkel cruise to Whitehaven Beach! The operators were absolutely awesome — friendly, professional, and so patient with our kids. They made our 13-year-old feel confident and excited, and they were incredible with our 6-year-old, who was a little nervous at first. Even though the ride was a bit rough, the crew checked in regularly and kept everyone comfortable and safe. The snorkelling experience itself was amazing — crystal-clear water, beautiful marine life, and plenty of time to explore. The whole day was well-organised, fun, and truly unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour and its fantastic team!
