  Commentary was awful . Couldn’t hear anything outside upstairs so no idea of what was going on, when we were eating, getting on/getting off. Photographer completely ignored me on the beach . Ugly? Old? Solo? I don’t know . But hope you’re never in that position of trying to adapt to solo life after many years of marriage Sadly my husband passed away so any kindness is appreciated! FYI , the half-day Whitsunday cruise starts at 7.15am, gets to Whitehaven Beach at 9.30, leaves at 11.30 but on the way back you go to Hamilton island get off and wait for another boat which takes you back to Airlie via the airport! Gets back at 1430.

  There are toilets at Whitehaven and the crew have a BBQ and beers that we can purchase. But I still bought my own food. Afternoon tea was serperb. Water was a beautiful 25 degrees 😍

  Wouldn't recommend, spent at least 2 hours each way (total 4 hours in travel) as they just put you on a transit boat which also takes travellers to and from other islands with luggage all day, only spent 1.5 hours on the beach and then wasted the rest of the day doing stops along the way to pick up other travellers and were made to swap boats at Hamilton island. Have had much better experiences for the same money with other tours. Very dissapointed.

  We really enjoyed this experience, cruising through the Whitsundays. Stopping in at Daydream Is and Hamilton Is before arriving at beautiful Whitehaven Beach. We even saw whales on the way. The crew were happy and friendly all day. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

  We had a wonderful time on our Whitehaven tour. The beach is absolutely stunning and the overall tour experience was excellent. Most of the crew were so pleasant, friendly, and helpful, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by one crew member named Jade. Unlike the rest of the team, she came across as bossy and rude to guests. She made insulting comments and, shockingly, grabbed my sister’s paper plate, saying that “we should be eating hotdogs on napkins.” Moments later, we saw her eating off a paper plate herself. The hypocrisy and lack of courtesy were disappointing and very unprofessional. It’s such a shame because everything else about the day was fantastic, and the rest of the crew truly went out of their way to make it memorable. Whitehaven Beach is an absolute must-see, and I would recommend the tour overall—but management should seriously address Jade’s behavior, as it takes away from an otherwise amazing experience.

  Crystal clear and beautiful beach. This trip is a nice way to relax and enjoy some personal moments! The guides were very friendly and accommodating.

• Beautiful Whitehaven Beach

  Whitehaven Beach is one of my favourite places to visit. We enjoyed another perfect afternoon at this beautiful spot. We were lucky enough to see whales, and get a perfect sunset on the way back to Airlie Beach.

  The trip was very good but the only thing which was annoying is that you travel for 4 hours to and fro to stay at the beach relaxing for less than 2 hours. Even transfer from big boat to small boat and than to the island takes 30-45 mins each while embarking and disembarkinv the boat. I would recommend a full day trip but the price for full day trip should be less.
