A seat of a kayak offers you an opportunity to explore the rugged and beautiful Soča River. Professional instructors will be your conductor through an intense 2-3-hour training course, giving you the skills, joy, and confidence to endear the challenges of the open white and wild emerald water. Be the kayak king, spend more days on the river and Soča will deliver. If mastering kayaking is your goal, multi-day courses are recommended.

First day
SPORT MIX
At the agreed-upon time, a friendly welcome will await you at the SPORT MIX agency. You will get acquainted with your kayak instructor who will then share some introductory information. After receiving all your kayaking gear, we will transport you to the entrance point on the Soča River, which will be determined by the instructor based on water levels and your prior knowledge and experience.
River Soca
After putting on your gear, you will be instructed on the laws of water flow and the techniques to employ in maneuvering in those situations. In your 5 – 10 km descent of the Soča, you will put into practice the techniques you have learned and build on your knowledge so that you can safely and in a relaxed manner enjoy your kayaking experience. Each day at the end of your trip, our driver will be waiting to transport you back to Bovec. Upon return, we will conduct a short analysis and review of the day and agree on the next day’s plan.
After your return, we'll review the day's pictures and conduct a brief analysis and review session. Should you desire, you can also book an additional day of kayaking for more adventures on the river.
Second day
At the designated time, let's reconvene at our office. There, you can gather your gear, and we'll swiftly prepare to tackle the rapids once more.
Soca
We'll arrange transportation to a new entry point along the Soča River, selected by the instructor according to water levels and your performance from the first day.
After your return, we'll quickly browse through the photos together before saying goodbye until our next adventure.

5.00I was really impressed with the entire experience. The staff at the front desk were friendly, professional and helpful. I booked a time for kayaking on the Soča just before they closed late in the evening. They added me to a group of five at 8.30am the follow morning. I offered to pay up front but they accepted payment only after the event which was nice. We were shuttled to the launch point at Čezsoča Bridge. Our guide, Gal, was exemplary with a great sense of humour and stories about his outdoor adventures in Brazil and elsewhere. He made sure we were comfortable with the kayaks and how to manoeuvre them in the shallow water before we set off. Gal took lots of cool photos of the group as we paddled along the white water. In fact, when the office saw me packing my phone, they recommended that I store the phone in one of their lockers. The weather was sunny that morning which gave us dramatic views of the surrounding mountains; including features like the Svinjak peak and Boka waterfall. The shuttle bus was waiting to collect us at the exit point. Go straight to Sport MIX if you're visiting Bovec. They provide an excellent service.

5.00The people are lovely and the guide was great! They helped us reschedule our activity and were very attentive and pleasant. We kayaked along the Soca River and loved it! The scenery is stunning and the rapids are exciting but affordable for beginners. By mid-April the water was cold, but with neoprene it looks refreshing and pleasant and invites to soak. We will definitely repeat if we come back!

5.00Very nice tour!! There is hardly a better way to experience the Soča River and surrounding mountains. Our guide was super nice and prudent. Highly recommended, I would do it again any time!

5.00It was an incredible experience. Even though I am a beginner in kayaking, I completed the route quite smoothly, as our instructors helped us along the way. And the views along the way were simply stunning.

5.00This was such a fun trip. I am quite nervous of white water, but the guide was great, went through some skills in more tranquil water before setting off. The rapids were brilliant and we also got to swim. The whole experience was really well organised and I would totally recommend.

5.00It was our first time rafting and it was incredible!! Such an amazing and unforgettable experience. Our instructor was excellent and took the time to give us proper safety instructions, but made it so much fun on the water too!! We felt like we were in very safe hands. The scenery was just breathtaking and the rapids were awesome! Sport Mix were definitely the best choice. Highly recommend!!!
