Your adventure begins at Anantara Iko Hotel, where you’ll meet your guide for a quick briefing and equipment check before setting off. From there, you’ll ride your e-bike through a mix of off-road tracks and sugarcane fields, enjoying the feeling of freedom away from the crowds. Along the way, you’ll explore: - La Cambuse Beach – a wild, untouched stretch of sand. - Le Bouchon Beach – known for its volcanic rocks and natural pools. - The Pont Suspendu (suspension bridge) over rugged coastal scenery. - The Royal Palm Forest and Mare aux Songes, where the first Dodo remains were discovered. The route offers dramatic views of the southern cliffs and the vast Indian Ocean. With the electric assistance of your bike, you’ll keep up the pace while enjoying the landscapes, stopping for photos and stories shared by your guide. After about 2.5 hours of riding, you’ll return to the starting point at Anantara Iko with a fresh perspective on the wild south of Mauritius.

5.00Henri was brilliant, very knowledgeable & always checking back. Good quality bikes. There are some technical rocky sections so you do need to be competent on a MTB, although total distance was approx 10 miles (which is enough in the heat!). Beautiful stretch of coastline, nice & quiet. Highly recommended for cyclists!

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic e-bike experience exploring the dramatic South Coast of Mauritius, often called the Wild South—and it truly lives up to its name. The landscapes were breathtaking, from rugged cliffs and powerful waves crashing against the shore . Our guide, Henri, made the day exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, always making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident on the e-bikes. His passion for the region really came through—he shared fascinating stories, local insights, and hidden viewpoints we would never have found on our own. At every stop, he took the time to explain the history, culture, and natural beauty of the area, making the tour feel both personal and enriching. The e-bikes were easy to use and made the journey smooth, even on hilly stretches. It was the perfect way to experience the Wild South at a relaxed pace while still feeling adventurous. Overall, it was a memorable, fun, and beautifully organized outing. If you’re visiting Mauritius and want a mix of scenery, adventure, and great company, an e-bike tour with Henri is highly recommended!

5.00Scenic very nice EMTB tour. The guide Henri Julian was great! The bikes were in good shape. An experienced e-mountain biker is not really required. I came back with 91% residual battery. Negative is the age restriction to 65 (discriminatory), otherwise you would have to set further criteria such as weight, etc. Especially if the tour is not physically demanding...
100% would do it again!

5.00We had an amazing time on the e-biking tour! Our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, reassuring, and I felt safe with him the entire way. He took us to places we would have never found on our own, with stunning scenery and hidden spots far away from the usual tourist paths. It truly felt like a real moment of discovery and adventure. You do need to be comfortable on a bike, as some sections are off-road. Thanks again Henri!

5.00“Absolute highlight of our Mauritius trip. The e-bikes made exploring the southern coast effortlest, and the route was unreal, cliffs, turquoise lagoon, and herds of cows on the beach :) Great pace, clear briefings, and plenty of photo stops. Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks to Henri for an amazing morning!
