2026 marks Wild Water's 35th season on the KICKING HORSE RIVER. We take great pride in providing first-class, top-notch rafting experiences for each and every guest. No detail is too small, nor any logistic too challenging. Whether it be complimentary top-of-the-line gear (cleaned and dried after every use), welcoming and extensive River Base amenities (such as heated, indoor change rooms), or our highly professional river rafting crew, Wild Water Adventures has it all.
Under the skillful control of the highly experienced Wild Water guides, rafts expertly maneuver past stunning scenery and through turbulent and challenging waves and rapids.

Join Wild Water Adventures on the famous Kicking Horse River for a true Rocky Mountain whitewater rafting experience. Famous for its waves and rapids, the Kicking Horse offers ‘mild to wild’ whitewater options. Satisfy any level of desired whitewater adventure with either our half-day or full-length trips. We are here to make your Kicking Horse adventure the best it possibly can be. Safety at Wild Water is our #1 priority. At the River Base (2750 Beaverfoot Rd, Golden BC), change into top-of-the-line provided gear and be shuttled to the river. After a thorough safety briefing, it is time to raft! Choose between fun-filled 1/2-day trips or longer full-length experiences. Families and the mildly adventurous will love the Gentle trip, a perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Bigger & wilder waves are found on the Whitewater Exciter. The full-length Tradition maximizes time on the river and is the Gentle & Whitewater Exciter trips put together! Depending upon the trip of choice, on-river time ranges from 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours.** ** AGE & WEIGHT CRITERIA

5.00Staff were absolutely amazing, energized, positive and fun! Great instructions and safety equipment. We went in September and were not cold at all. It was so much fun! Highly recommend this ride.

5.00Everything was well organized. We were taken by bus to the river and later picked up again. The briefing was very good. We started with ten boats and about 6-8 people each. The stinginess were all great and the tour a truly extraordinary experience. Anytime again !

5.00Everything about this experience was brilliant ! The staff were amazingly friendly and went through all the safety briefings clearly so we knew what to do and what to expect. We hadn’t rafted before and I was a little nervous but Jacob our instructor was brilliant and made me feel at ease. He was interested in everyone on our raft, he gave us info on the river and the things to look out for on the bank whilst making it really fun and making sure we all got wet and had smiles on our faces! We had so much fun we would definitely do this again.

5.00The Rafting Tour was so much fun, I'd do it again anytime. We all were a bit nervous at the beginning, but at the latest after the first rapid with cold-water-splash, I could not stop smiling. First thing I did when I came home was googling where I could go rafting in my area. Our guide was super-nice and made sure we all had fun. Thanks to Wild Water Adventures for an unforgettable experience.

5.00I would give more stars if I could. Everything about our white water rafting experience was top notch. We did the Whitewater Exciter Class II to IV+ Rafting Tour. Our guide Tye was fantastic!! He provided us with the most incredibly fun experience while keeping everyone safe. He taught us a great deal about rafting techniques, the Kicking Horse River, and all the natural wonders we were seeing around us. At the same time, he kept us all laughing, displayed such infectious enthusiasm and energy, and was fully engaged with us the entire trip. In the rafting photos of our group, you can tell everyone was having an awesome time. We'll definitely be back.

5.00From our group trip we participated with 9 people in rafting on the Kicking Horse River. A super fun experience. We had a great afternoon. Got soaking wet and laughed a lot. Our guide Gav has given us an experience we will not forget. The photos are proof.

5.00This was our first time white water rafting. Hazel was our guide and she was awesome! We knew what to expect at every turn. Yes, you get wet and the water is cold. It was great fun!
