The viewpoint was gigantic! Right on the water, mountains all around, stars within reach, a beautiful fjord and gigantic northern lights!

The two female guides were great. Camp Tamok is far from Tromso- an hour and a half bus ride. We stood out in a forest clearing after walking a short while and waited to see the Northern Lights which unfortunately did not appear the night we went. We were out about an hour and a half to two hours. They outfitted is with overalls, boots and heavy mittens. Also served hot drinks and good reindeer stew afterwards in a lavuu ( Sami name for a yurt equivalent). I think if you are going here for dog sledding or snowmobiling it is a better experience. The guides and service were really great. They do not control nature. Taking the Northern Lights Chase experience might be a better option as they move to where there might be better chances of seeing the lights.
