Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the world's oldest and largest continuously inhabited Royal Castle, home to HM Queen Elizabeth II. Visit the State Apartments used for Official State Visits and events with its amazing collection of art, armoury, tapestries and furniture. Paintings by the likes of Holbein, Van Dyck, Rubens, Rembrandt, Titian, Canaletto and Gainsborough, as well as frescoes, by Antonio Verrio. Wonder at St George's Chapel one of the finest examples of English Gothic architecture where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, burial place of royalty and the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter. *Note St George's Chapel is closed for visits on Sundays. **As Windsor Castle is primarily an Official Royal Residence in use (and not just a visitor attraction strictly speaking) it is sometimes subject to last minute closures. We will always check opening schedule once you've booked the tour and will notify you of any planned closures in advance when possible.

5.00We had a wonderful time! Calvin was extremely helpful, on time and enjoyable to be around. He made our visit to Stonehenge so informative and helped bring the historical information to life. The car was very comfortable and well maintained. Would definitely book through Bespoke England tours again.

5.00We had literally the best time on our trip to England and it was largely in part because of Bespoke England Tours (and our guide/driver Simon). My family (including my elderly parents) really wanted to go and see Stonehenge and visit Windsor Castle on their first trip to London. My sister found Bespoke England Tours and wanted to utilize a private tour service as my parents don't always love doing large tour groups and definitely would have appreciated something more private. Working with Otto (the reservation manager), the booking and logistics prior to the actual tour could not have been easier. On the day of, Simon (who was utterly fantastic), was at our Hotel a few minutes early and was waiting for us when we were ready to go. Simon was so knowledgeable, friendly, insightful and was literally perfect in making our experience unforgettable. The van was very nice and spacious for our group (and had water, phone chargers, and other amenities that people may need). The tour and experience was one my family will talk about for years to come. Highly and will constantly recommend to all my friends and family.

5.00I had a fantastic time on my Bespoke England Tour to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, and a large part of that was thanks to our wonderful guide, David. From the moment he picked us up, David's warm and friendly personality put us at ease. He was incredibly knowledgeable about both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, sharing fascinating historical facts and stories that truly brought the sites to life. He didn't just recite information, but engaged us in conversations, answering our questions thoughtfully and sparking our curiosity to learn more. David's passion for English history was contagious, and he tailored the tour to our interests, making sure we saw everything we wanted to see and more. He knew the best spots for photos, helped us navigate the crowds, and even shared some local tips for places to eat after the tour. Beyond his knowledge and professionalism, David's genuine enthusiasm and sense of humor made the day truly enjoyable. It felt like we were exploring these iconic landmarks with a friend, rather than just a tour guide. I highly recommend Bespoke England Tours, and if you're lucky enough to have David as your guide, you're in for a truly memorable experience!

5.00We are so happy we decided to book this tour rather than a group tour or going out on our own. We toured with David and he was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. His vehicle was spacious and comfortable and it made the day so relaxing and easy. It was an especially busy day at Stonehenge and having David’s knowledge and experience with the site made the visit so much more than it would have been on our own. It may seem like a lot to spend on a tour but if you want a day that allows you to feel like you’re on vacation and experience two great historic sites to their fullest, it is more than worth the expense.
Wonderful day at Stonehenge and Windsor.

5.00This was an amazing tour. Highly recommend! It me my husband, and our teen age kids. We had Simon for a guide and driver he was excellent! We did Stonehenge first because of the time I picked for our tickets. Good thing too because the weather was good cool and partly cloudy. He took group photos of the family for us and gave us an abundance of informative facts about how old it was. Then on to Windsor Castle. Unfortunately we got rain there but all worked out for us. The castle tour was wonderful. Beautiful rooms were everywhere. We used the head sets which were sometimes hard to follow It’s was a fabulous trip. Highly recommend. .

5.00It was a special request transportation tour. It was fabulous! We requested transportation from the Strand Hotel to Stonehenge and then Windsor Castle, and back to our London hotel. We did want to see any other sites. It was the best experience ever. Our driver/guide David S. was wonderful. My husband & I were picked up at 4:30 am, to be to Stonehenge for inner circle tour at 6:30. Only 30 people in the circle tour, which we purchased before booking private transportation. Well worth any expense. On to Windsor Castle. Beautiful. Transported back to London. Driver was absolutely fantastic! Arrived to our hotel about 1 pm. Time for a nap and on to the Horse Guard. Viator worked with Bespoke England to make this happen! It was outstanding and worth every penny! Would recommend to anyone wanting to see Stonehenge first hand. It is truly a bucket list. Bespoke England was incredibly responsive regarding the entire experience (and the unsociable hour fee, which is all London transport before or after a certain time). Absolutely a must. Viator and Bespoke London were fabulous! Amazing!

5.00I picked this because I always wanted to see Stonehenge and learn more about it. And it being combined with Windsor Castle made it even more special. I picked a private car tour not sure of what I would get. The driver guide, Peter, was amazing. Not only did I get a personalized explanation of material he had on hand to explain both sites but he could even answers questions that weren't on syllabus that I was curious about. It was the perfect amount of history I was looking for and presented in a relatable way. Thanks again Peter for making it so special. I highly recommend for someone that wants a more one on one experience.
