Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

3.00We had high hopes for this tour. It wasn’t until we were on the bus that we found out this was a multi-language tour which our guide didn’t handle well which made it difficult. We got to Oxford and it was confusing as to whether we were supposed to go with her or on our own. We did follow her and then just had a small amount of time to walk around and find some food to take on the bus. It was mandated that the food not be hot because she didn’t want it to smell. When we got to Windsor we only had time to quickly walk through the castle without stopping. Because of the lack of time we did leave 4 people behind. We did have plenty of time at Stonehenge.

5.00Anne and Adam was great. Wish we had a little more time in Windsor castle. But due to the underground strike it would of been difficult. They went above and beyond to make sure we hit all location.

3.00Long day (as expected) with stops at Oxford, Windsor, and Stonehenge. Bus rides between stops are longer than the time you have at the stops. There's just not enough time to do much but quickly walk around Oxford and Windsor. You can walk around Stonehenge once and visit the gift/snack center in the time allotted. In some ways, the tour is almost disappointing since you really need more time to see Oxford and Windsor. Tour guide was fine, coach driver too. The coach itself was comfortable with good heat/cooling. I'd really suggest doing Oxford and Windsor as separate tours if you really want to see them. (This tour was provided in two languages which wasn't stated in the Viator description, so we heard everything twice.)

5.00Amazing trip! Our guide Robert and driver Saurin were fantastic. They changed the order if the trip to avoid the rain and crowds and we had a fantastic experience. Robert is an encyclopedia of British history and explained it very well. Highly recommend this tour.
