Door to door service from Jose Ignacio to Bodega Garzon. Uruguay has a 0% tolerance policy for driving after drinking, so the driver was key. He gave us great history and context along the way, and swung through the town of Garzon on the way back. The tour itself was wonderful, and our driver even waiting on us while we enjoyed lunch with beautiful view at the wine bar after. Separately, Ryan sent through tons of thoughtful tips and suggestions via WhatsApp throughout. He was like my personal concierge during the time in Uruguay. This alone made me two experiences with The Wine Experience worthwhile. Thank you Ryan!

i absolutely loved my solo excursion to Bodega Garzon. Ryan was the best : great communication , perfect planning door to door to Bodega Garzon, including the wine tour/ tasting and a rezzie for lunch at the gorgeous cafe Nico , my driver was also an excellent storyteller and local historian as well as getting me to and from location ryan went the extra mile of giving me several options on excursions as well as additional information on local spots and excellent food and beverage recos both in Punta and Montevideo all in all , this is your to go for well organized wine excursions in Uruguay 5 stars , 2 thumbs up !

The whole experience was amazing, it all starts with Nico, the driver! A gentleman that has loads of stories to share. Ryan who organised everything for us is also incredible, there are no words to express. The wineyard is from another world, great wines and great lunch. This is definitely an experience I recommend to anyone in Uruguay. Thanks again Ryan and Nico

What an incredible day we had on this tour! We enjoyed a VIP experience with Ryan exploring the grounds of this beautiful vineyard. We tasted many delicious wines with tasty cheese and cold cuts along with beautiful grilled meat for lunch. Ryan is a wonderful host and was so welcoming. He gave us many other recommendations and helped us plan the rest of our vacation. I'm so thankful for him. He really went above and beyond for us.

If you go to José Ignacio and like wines, don’t miss the opportunity to make this wonderful tour!!! And if you only go to Punta del Este, consider walking a few more kilometers and meet the delicious little José Ignacio (and do not fail to schedule The Wine Experience)!! Ryan is a great wine knower and teacher, in addition to being a wonderful human being and super high astral! And besides learning about wines (tasting some excellent labels in harmony with cheeses and dried fruits), you will witness the most beautiful sunset of your life, or one of the most beautiful! I loved the experience and highly recommend!!! It was me, my husband and my 1 and a half year old baby! And it was wonderful!!!

Incredible experience!! The program gathered a bacanérrimo place with a stunning view sunset beautiful wine tasting great red and white rose with a clear explanation easy to understand.Ryan is super knowledgeable of the subject very spiritual and good people too. Imperdible!!!

The experience is not only a first-class wine tasting, but a beautiful wine class. Ryan, Sommelier who carries out the experience is very nice people, very attentive and soon upon arrival already welcomes us with a glass of sparkling. The place is wonderful, and everything is done in front of a stunning sunset!! Super worth it! Worth every penny! Not to mention the photos we took that are worthy of portrait portrait of so beautiful that they stayed in the scene. For those who go to Punta, the tour is imperative, even for those who are not as fan of wine as I am.

A great many thanks to Ryan Hamilton! He helped facilitate a wonderful wedding proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancé) during the Jose Ignacio private wine tasting. It was the moment of a lifetime and something for which I will always be grateful. The grounds of the resort we went to were beautiful, to say nothing of the scenery. What made the experience even more meaningful was the attentiveness Ryan gave us as he patiently walked us through everything there is to know about wine. At just the right moment, we went outside, and with a backdrop of ocean, beach, and sky I found the perfect moment to get down on one knee. Ryan captured the moment perfectly and my (soon) wife and I could not be happier and more grateful for such a wonderful memory! Cheers!
