5.00Absolutely incredible evening at the Secret Gorge restaurant! Honestly we floated on happiness all night surrounded by stunning nature and in the company of 10 other fabulous travellers! Joseph and his family welcomed us to genuine warm Cretan hospitality and treated us to the BEST authentic local Cretan dishes and local wines! The entire dining experience far surpassed any expectation. Joseph a heartfelt thank you for providing us a once in a lifetime experience. A MUST DO in Crete!

5.00A wonderful evening in an almost magical location. Very good food and wine served in a never ending amount. A long table for 12 people where everyone was there to get a special experience, and we got it. High spirits and a very happy evening. Highly recommended.

5.00Wine tasting accompanied by local dishes together with 12 other guests on a social table overlooking a beautiful gorge a stone's throw from the sea. The location is beautiful at sunset, the company very pleasant, the wines mostly excellent (not all), the cuisine very good. A beautiful experience, not only food and wine: spending the evening in a beautiful place together with diners from all over the world is not every day.

5.00Dining at The Secret Gorge was an absolute delight. The food was delicious and incredibly diverse—there was something for everyone, no matter your preferences. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The wine selection was top-notch, and what made it even better was the attentive service: your glass was never empty for long, as they refilled it promptly whenever it ran low. It added a touch of luxury to an already special evening. The location is fantastic—both cozy and atmospheric, making it the perfect setting for a memorable night out. One of the most unique aspects of the evening was being seated with people we didn’t know. Surprisingly, we ended up chatting the entire night, which made the experience even more fun and sociable. The owner and the staff were absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s clear that a lot of heart goes into this place. In short: The Secret Gorge is a real gem. Highly recommended!

5.00The setting of this restaurant is absolutely stunning. We sat at dinner with a bunch of strangers who, by the of the night were friends! Such a wonderful, relaxed experience. It is a family business and it’s like they brought us to their house and cooking for us. The Greek wines were fantastic. This is a can’t miss if you are in Crete. It’s 10 minutes from Rethymno.
