5.00We loved this tour. The winery site is about a 30 minute walk outside the city walls. Once there you are greeted with great views of the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The tour is very informative on what makes Vernaccia di San Gimignano so special and on what Tenuta Guardastelle does to make their wines so appealing. They do not skimp on this lunch and each dish was delicious and represented the Tuscan way. A few people had some dietary restrictions but the kitchen handled the requests without any problems. After a morning of traveling this experience was great way to enjoy the area.

5.00This was an absolutely amazing experience. We learned so much about the wine making process, sampled excellent wines and had an amazing lunch too. Fauzo (I believe was his name, husband and wife own it), was amazing telling the story of the winery and how it came to be, and taking us on a tour of the grape fields, the room where it’s processed etc. It is a beautiful place a kilometre from San Gimignano with amazing views!! Highly, highly recommend.
