Your professional tourist guide and wine expert will pick you up at the scheduled time by his comfortable minivan. During the 20 minutes trip your driver-guide will give you an introduction about the Sardinian territory and wine culture. Once arrived at your destination you will immerse yourself in the wine's world. First, you will visit the production area and learn the wine making process. You will see the steel vats for the fermentation, the different kind of tanks, the barrel room and the bottling machine. Then, you will be accompanied to the tasting room. There, you will taste 3 different wines accompanied by a selection of local products such as bread, cheese, olive and cold cuts. You will learn the right way to taste a wine, how to evalutate that, and how to make the best match with food. Your tour will end with drop-off back at the original departure point. The cost for the wine tasting is € 25 per person (not included in the price of the tour), to be paid the day of the tour.

5.00We had a great guide in Alessandro the sommelier- one of us didn't drink wine but still enjoyed the tour and learnt a lot. The other was engrossed with Alessandro as he discussed the various wines tasted in conjunction with food he gave to be taken with the wine tasting. He also supplied an "aide memoir" at the end of the tour. That was the end part of the tour done in a lovely tasting room in the Winery. Prior to the above we were picked up at the hotel and in the relatively short trip to the winery we got an insight into the extent of wine growing and its production in Sardinia including % of market and nature/history of wine and grapes. Not too technical - interesting. This winery is large with millions of bottles produced with a large number of farmers supplying to them. Also like all things in life it has become very efficient in production of product and our eyes were opened when we got a tour of the factory and could see the process up close. Alessandro explained it and the staff we met were very friendly. Finally we also got a good insight into the whole wine making process - which again is interesting to hear - even if you have heard it before. The only real challenge we had was the 30 degrees heat on an October day - not something we are used to where we come from!!

5.00Alessandro was so knowledgeable and informative about the grapes and the wine making process. He answered any questions with a smile and was keen to tell us all he knew. My partner and I were very intrigued by everything we learnt and loved hearing about Sardinian wines. The wine tasting and pairing was also very fun and interesting. We learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just a heads up that you do have to pay an additional €20 per person on the day for the wine tasting, which we didn’t mind. We thought it was all well worth the money and would highly recommend!!

5.00My partner and I had a fantastic experience touring the winery. The pick-up was smooth and Alessandro told us about Sardinian culture, history and of course about the wineries while getting there. We arrived and got a wonderful and in depth tour of the facility and learned the whole process from grapevine to finished bottled wine. Alessandro is so well-spoken and knowledgable, and very easy to understand. The actual tasting was beyond anything we could have imagined - extraordinary wine and pieces of great and authentic food paired with it - we both thoroughly enjoyed learning so much about wine and look forward to using our new tools and information in the future! (afterwards, Alessandro kindly dropped us off near the city centre and told us the best places to see and where to eat!) Couldn’t recommend it enough, truly a MUST if you are visiting Cagliari!

5.00Me and my partner vad an amazing experience looking around the winery and getting everything explained by Alessandro. He was an amazing tour guide, very experienced and friendly. We got to see the whole process from grape to different wines and all our questions got answered very well. We got picked up and dropped off just outside our accommodation and the drive to the winery near Cagliari was lovely with great views. The tasting was the very best part of our experience. We got to try beautiful and amazing wines with great pairing with Sardinian cheese, sausage, bread and olives. Even some pastries at the end. We got generous amounts of both food and wine and they had a shop where you could purchase their wines. Both me and my partner are very new and unexperienced in wine tasting and wine making. Alessandro explained very well to us so we could understand. He guided us through the tasting in how to look, smell and drink the different wines. Overall, we had an incredible experience and loved every second of it. We definitely have a different view on wine now. We learned so much by this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cagliari!

5.00Me and my partner had a lovely time looking around the winery and wine tasting. Alessandro was very informative and helpful. He picked us up from our apartment and told us about the city. He is definitely very knowledgeable about Cagliari and wine. The winery was very impressive. Would recommend.
