Note: During the fishing tour, only two people can fish at a time, but a maximum of three people are allowed on board. On this fishing experience, you’ll get the chance to try traditional fishing and catch fish from the Adriatic Sea around Dubrovnik. It’s a great activity for beginners who want to learn this fishing technique. The best part of this tour is the surprise of the catch,You never know what might bite! Fishing is done at depths of 60 to 100 meters, and while you’ll mostly catch smaller fish, the excitement of seeing what comes on the line makes every moment on the water full of adventure and fun. The fishing is carried from a Quicksilver 675 (22 ft) speedboat, equipped with a Minkota motor that keeps the boat steady in one spot for calm fishing, a Lowrance fishfinder, and fishing gear specifically suited for this type of fishing. Bottom Fishing Explanation: Bottom fishing is done using a rod and reel with a rig consisting of three hooks and a weight. Bait, such as sardines or pieces of squid, is placed on the hooks, and the entire rig is lowered to the sea floor. Once it reaches the bottom, you simply wait for a bite, making it a relaxing and rewarding way to fish.

My family had a great time fishing with Maro. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time (with plenty of drinks) and caught a lot of fish! He cleaned the fish for us and gave us tips on how to cook them. While he cleaned the fish he took us to Lokrum so we could see the peacocks and swim. Then he found us some sea urchin to eat straight from the sea. Amazing! Book a trip with Maro, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a great time with Maro, very flexible and nice. He gave us lot of explanation. We could swim and visit fantastic places. Our son loved it, we came back with fish for our dinner! Memorable experience

This is a fun 1/2 day tour which could be enjoyed by everyone. Maro ensured we caught as many fish as possible so that it was a good experience for us whilst being very honest on booking the trip about what was likely to be caught and not setting expectations that you will catch monsters. He was very knowledgeable about Dubrovnik and could tell that he was a true local. He catered the trip around what we wanted to do and took us to places to snorkel and at no point rushing us back but ensuring we had the best time possible. I would highly recommend Maro to anyone wanting to go on this trip in Dubrovnik.

Me and my family went our boat trip with Maro today! Maro made our whole experience extremely enjoyable, he was very easy to contact, very pleasant, helpful and accommodating! I would certainly recommend him, in fact my first question when the boat stopped was “Do you have any more availability for another trip before we go back to the UK?” What a fantastic day!!!! Rebecca

Booked 1/2 day trip for our family of 4. Initially had a massive problem with my phone and could not make a payment for this trip, but Maro called me, and made it all very easy. On the day of fishing, weather was against us as it was raining all day, but Maro took a great care of us,we caught 3 numbers of different fish, my kids where over the moon. All in one - perfect. Would highly recommend this company and Captain Maro!!!

What a great trip. We opted for the morning 4 hour trip (which was perfect). The heat of the day hadn’t set in yet, the sea was calm, and the visible was perfectly. Capt Maro was just awesome. A pleasant guy to be around, not pushy or snobby to those of us who aren’t “pro fisherman”. He was very informative about the local area. Capt Maro is a “family man” and understands what’s appropriate for families. After our introduction and boarding his cool boat, we headed out to the first exclusive spot. The morning went by with great fun and conversation. Maro kept our hooks baited and carved up our spoils for us back at the dock. Great Great trip, a “must do” outing. Thanks for the great memories and pictures Maro!!

We had a great experience fishing with Maro just off the heads beyond the harbour. Maro made sure we came back all happy with our catch. He was wonderful with the kids and his boat is very clean. I would highly recommend taking a trip with Maro!!

Maro took us all out for my husbands birthday. We had a great time! He went above and beyond to make sure that we caught as many fish as possible. He was very patient with us and made sure we had a lot of fun. We will definetly be booking another trip with him again in the future.
