Note! On our tours, guests' safety always comes first. On this tour we move through the forest with live fire. If the guide assesses the situation or the weather in such a way that it challenges the guests' safety, we will not use torches. We still wander through the forest, and end up lighting a campfire. ‍

Hop on the metro and travel through quaint neighborhoods to Frognerseteren Station, which sits at about 500m above the fjord.

After a few moments to soak in the views it's time to start our adventure! We will take a short walk over to the frozen Øvresetertjern Lake, where you will enjoy a cozy campfire, Norwegian style. We will have "hygge" - hot drinks, good conversation, roast marshmallows.

Here, each guest will be given a flame torch. After a safety briefing, we’ll set off into the winter wilderness.

The walk will last about 45 min and will end by the metro which takes us back to civilization.

Our tour will take place is Oslomarka, which is the forest high above Oslo city. Our walk starts at Frognerseteren and traverses through the snow laden forest where eventually we will stop and have a cozy campfire. Around the fire we will enjoy some hot chocolate or tea and roast some marshmallows. *Tour duration includes time spent on public transportation.

Very expensive tour, you spend more time on the metro traveling than the activity itself, it is not worth paying £80 to walk 15m in the dark and drink chocolate. It was very boring and disappointing.

Very disappointing. Since there was no snow we changed this tour for the "torchlight hike". Our guide was very professional and willing to help us and give us tips for our stay in Oslo. Having said that... the hike was simply a walk along a path surrounding a cabin. You can get there by subway and do it on your own because it has no mystery. We paid £80 per person for 4 marshmallows and a hot chocolate that was not even hot. Al.be at night we can not appreciate a shred of landscape and the photos are simply a.person holding a torch. It takes longer to travel by subway and be burning marshmallows than the walking experience. "Hike"

Myself and my sister had a wonderful time on the tour. Our guide Patricia was very welcoming, gentle and informative. She was very passionate and this shone through. The walk through the forest was picturesque and the waffles, hot chocolate and marshmallows around the fire a welcome treat. A locely way to meet and chat to other travellers.

Beautiful experience and impeccably organized. The weather conditions were excellent. Mustafa was very kind and caring with everyone. Nothing yes in faceable indeed simple but suggestive walk.

Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We sat by the campfire, drank hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows and then headed into the forest for a very peaceful walk. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend, thanks again for a great afternoon/evening!

The tour was great, Peter was such a nice guide. Everything was as described. We had nice snow but not such a good view (but you can‘t control the weather) 😊

In Jan 2025 I did a wonderful snowshoe tour with Antoine in the morning; followed by a just as wonderful winter torchlight tour with Mustafeh in the evening! Very friendly and knowledgeable guides, and helpful staff generally!

The views were amazing but thanks to Mustapha our tour guide, he made it so it was safe, knowledgable and a worth while trip. He was a brilliant tour guide and couldn’t thank him enough! Definitely recommend this activity, it was amazing.

Mustapha our guide was an unbelievable kindness! He took to chatting with everyone on the way and taught us a lot about Norway. The campfire on arrival was very friendly and blended perfectly with the frozen lake. Walking is short and not very difficult. Experience to live.
