Note! On our tours, guests' safety always comes first. On this tour we move through the forest with live fire. If the guide assesses the situation or the weather in such a way that it challenges the guests' safety, we will not use torches. We still wander through the forest, and end up lighting a campfire. ‍

Hop on the metro and travel through quaint neighborhoods to Frognerseteren Station, which sits at about 500m above the fjord.

After a few moments to soak in the views it's time to start our adventure! We will take a short walk over to the frozen Øvresetertjern Lake, where you will enjoy a cozy campfire, Norwegian style. We will have "hygge" - hot drinks, good conversation, roast marshmallows.

Here, each guest will be given a flame torch. After a safety briefing, we’ll set off into the winter wilderness.

The walk will last about 45 min and will end by the metro which takes us back to civilization.

Our tour will take place is Oslomarka, which is the forest high above Oslo city. Our walk starts at Frognerseteren and traverses through the snow laden forest where eventually we will stop and have a cozy campfire. Around the fire we will enjoy some hot chocolate or tea and roast some marshmallows. *Tour duration includes time spent on public transportation.

Beautiful experience and impeccably organized. The weather conditions were excellent. Mustafa was very kind and caring with everyone. Nothing yes in faceable indeed simple but suggestive walk.

Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We sat by the campfire, drank hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows and then headed into the forest for a very peaceful walk. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend, thanks again for a great afternoon/evening!

The tour was great, Peter was such a nice guide. Everything was as described. We had nice snow but not such a good view (but you can‘t control the weather) 😊

In Jan 2025 I did a wonderful snowshoe tour with Antoine in the morning; followed by a just as wonderful winter torchlight tour with Mustafeh in the evening! Very friendly and knowledgeable guides, and helpful staff generally!

The views were amazing but thanks to Mustapha our tour guide, he made it so it was safe, knowledgable and a worth while trip. He was a brilliant tour guide and couldn’t thank him enough! Definitely recommend this activity, it was amazing.

Mustapha our guide was an unbelievable kindness! He took to chatting with everyone on the way and taught us a lot about Norway. The campfire on arrival was very friendly and blended perfectly with the frozen lake. Walking is short and not very difficult. Experience to live.

Disappointment and mismanagement of bookings. I booked this activity at least 1 month ago, when the day came I went to the meeting point (the Oslo tiger near the Oslo visitor point), arrived about 15 minutes early and waited until 15h (the activity was initially at 14:30). Nobody came and I didn't get any messages. I went to the Oslo visitor service and a girl contacted the company. Turns out they canceled the activity and didn't let me know because for them "I wasn't registered" when I registered 6 weeks or more ago. The issue of the return was not even talked about because according to them they have to return my money the app for which I bought the activity. I would have loved to make the excursion and I got a bad taste in my mouth as an end point to my holiday in Oslo. It's a shame. Hopefully they will control the issue of logs in the activity more and it will not happen again.
