4.00The Van Gough movie (if you want to call it that) was kind of neat. Lots of memorabilia in there. Maybe a little pricey. They were going to move to Orlando but decided to stay in the area. That is good. Would not have driven to Orlando for this.

5.00What a wonderful time for anyone who enjoys the Wizard of Oz movie. So much history, real story and visual delights! Maddie was wonderful. Expect to spend some time as it's a lot to take in.

5.00We were amazed by all the fantastic old artifacts and displays they had plus the exceptional video laser show featuring the Wizard of Oz , Van Gogh and shots from the James web telescope was an actual amazing experience. This for family members of all ages and highly recommend it to all . Staff was informative and very nice .

5.00We had a lot of time to kill before we got on our cruise and had our luggage with us. I was there with two senior citizens and an 8-year-old in tow. We got so much more than we bargained for! Just arriving at this venue makes you feel like you're about to enter another world. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. They stored our suitcases while we toured the museum and also while went for lunch at a place they recommended down the street. They were kind and tolerant of my hyperactive grandson who enjoyed the experience immensely. He loved spending time playing in the toy room and received a prize for completing the scavenger hunt. The gift shop was a lot of fun to browse as well and the products for sale are fun and beautiful (I purchased a gorgeous wizard of Oz t-shirt and get many compliments on it. We got a tour from the artist, Vincent, and he showed us some of his beautiful paintings, some of which are also for sale in the gift shop. This place is fun for all ages. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend it! The location is minutes from the port, making it a convenient location for pre-cruise or Post Cruise entertainment.
Plenty of HEART ❤️, BRAINS 😉 , and COURAGE 🦁 inside — the curb appeal just didn’t get the memo.😩

3.00If you’re interested in the history and legacy of The Wizard of Oz, this museum offers a fascinating deep dive. The owners have clearly put a great deal of effort into collecting and preserving memorabilia and historical information about L. Frank Baum and his work. I was especially interested to learn more about Baum himself and that he authored many books beyond the original Oz story. The immersive, Van Gogh–style experience was a highlight and added a creative, modern touch to the exhibit. It was engaging and thoughtfully done. That said, this is a very niche attraction. If you’re not a fan of Wizard of Oz memorabilia or literary history, it may not hold your interest. I’m somewhere in between, and while I appreciated the storytelling and historical impact, I wouldn’t consider it a must-see for everyone. The Cocoa Beach location is convenient, but the exterior of the building, parking lot, and surrounding area feel rundown and aren’t very inviting. Once inside, however, the exhibits themselves are well presented and immersive. A worthwhile stop for fans and history lovers, with room for improvement on curb appeal. The $30 protected was a bit high too 🙃
Cruise Stop and the Yellow Brick Road to Oz

5.00I was looking for a fun excursion on our own during a cruise stop in Port Canaveral. Since, I first saw the movie in the mid 60’s as a child I’ve always been interested in the subject and the actors who portrayed the characters. The short UBER ride to and from the museum was convenient and affordable. The tour self guided tour was about an hour including the Vincent van Gogh interactive portion. I recommend using your cell phone to listen to self guided tour. It was the history of the “Oz” story we found most interesting. The folks running the museum were very friendly and helpful. HINT: Wait until you’re at your cruise terminal’s ride share location before requesting a ride. This will ensure a more accurate pick up location.

5.00Staff was friendly as soon as we walked in once we purchased our tickets the staff member was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about the history of the movie and books before the movie the gift shop is very cute where you can purchase the books from the early 1900s it was a fantastic experience and one of the best museums in central Florida

5.00We missed out on Immersive Van Gogh during covid, so were excited to have the opportunity to see it on vacation in Florida. But we had no idea the Wizard of Oz experience would also be equally wonderful! Our son's girlfriend LOVES the movie (her mom taught her all the history) so to get to see such lore was a crazy experience! We didn't know about the other books - we learned so much! Even son's GF learned new things! Face-timed her mom from the museum!! It was well worth the time and the cost was minimal.
