Starting from the end Silvia is VERY GOOD and sunny. Do I recommend a tour led by her? Absolutely! We were a group of 6 people 4 adults a 15-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. Appointment at 9:30 for a tour of about 3 hours; she punctual. For the tour I had an idea of what to visit but in the end I took advice from her. I bought the tickets for the entrances before coordinating with her for the entrance times. The tour included: Basilica of San Vitale Mausoleum of Galla Placidia Neonian Baptistery Tomb of Dante Basilica of S Apollinare Nuovo. Before starting, he dedicated about twenty minutes for a brief review of history and to explain the origins of the city of Ravenna, fundamental premises to then understand the explanation of the various places that will be visited. She was engaging capturing the attention of both us adults and kids. The three-hour tour flew. Little gem out of the program, he took us to visit a small workshop where they make mosaics. I repeat, you are very good and your fee is fair. The mosaics of the Basilica of San Vitale are something beyond imagination. If you can, rely on a guide to visit these places.

Silvia was the perfect guide for a tour that combined history and contemporaneity. I wanted my 4 eighteen-year-old granddaughters to live an unusual Ravenna and Silvia accompanied us with enthusiasm and charisma. The tour of street art, space invaders and the main historical monuments was really interesting and fun, Silvia told us anecdotes and peculiarities that kept the attention and curiosity high. I highly recommend this type of visit to everyone and if you have teenage boys know that Silvia will always know how to catch their attention.

We had a wonderful experience discovering the remarkable Ravenna with Silvia Giogoli. She met us exactly on time and for the next 3 hours we were treated like special guests with skip-the-line privileges to all the sites we visited. The mosaics are awe-inspiring, and so is her knowledge. Her pace was perfect - and she was sensitive to our vibe and our interests. She designed the best first experience in Ravenna by starting at Sant'Apollinare Nuovo and finishing with Gallla Placidia right before the grand finale of the Basilica San Vitale. We even stopped by a mosaic art studio and chatted with the students who were creating their own masterpieces. It was truly an enriching day and Silvia topped it off by letting us in on the secret of where to eat and to be sure to try the ficchi caramelatti (caramelized figs) with stracchino cheese! wow! Don’t hesitate to book her tour. She is a delight and makes you feel like you’re hanging out with an old friend.

Silvia was so wonderful. She planned an entire day for us, including a bike ride through the forest, a mosaics tour, and a delicious lunch in Ravenna. She was so sweet and easy to work with. Response times were exceptional and she anticipated our every need. The bikes were brand new and rode so easily. The restaurant was authentic and delicious. Silvia explained all the history of mosaics and Ravenna. Highly recommend!

Excellent time with Sylvia, who speaks very good French, for a tour of the main sites of Ravenna. Silvia knows a lot about the ancient and recent history of her city and region. She knows how to share them and make Ravenna love her.
