The tour and service provided by Rob Gomez was far beyond our expectations. He was very knowledgable and so helpful to point out important places. The amount of time and stops was about right. We were so pleased that Rob was willing to spend more time with us than originally scheduled. We would recommend this tour and Rob 100%.

This tour was honestly one of the best things I did in Würzburg. Super relaxed and personal — felt more like walking around with a very knowledgeable local than a typical guide. You get so much more history than the usual tours, and it never felt rushed. We started with a walk across the Alte Mainbrücke (which he added for free), then up to the castle with tons of great stories along the way. Also stopped at the WWII History Center, which I didn’t even know was there. What made it even better was all the local tips — where to eat, which wines to try, even advice for my next stop in Germany. It felt like more than just a tour. Definitely worth it. Forgot the crowds, private and personal

Our tour with Rob was hands-down the highlight of our entire trip to Germany. From the very first moment, his passion for Würzburg and its rich history was absolutely contagious. He didn’t just guide us—he brought the castle, the residence, and the entire Romantic Road to life with stories, facts, and a great sense of humor. Rob is not just a tour guide—he’s a storyteller, a historian, and a truly warm person who made us feel like VIP guests every step of the way. He tailored the experience to our interests, answered every question with deep knowledge, and even gave us fantastic local recommendations afterward. We’ve had many tours throughout Europe, but Rob truly stands out. If you're visiting Würzburg, book a tour with Rob—you’ll remember it forever. Danke, Rob! 🙌

What an enjoyable tour. We recommend this tour. We chose it because it's the most affordable. We debated self guided tours but then you don't have the rich experience of a tour guide. Our tour guide was kind and humorous. We did a scavenger hunt looking for some things as the tour went on. The castle is larger than we thought and the views are extraordinary. We stopped at the end for win on the old main bridge overlooking the castle and city. Very romantic and baroque. Next time we will make other tours with this guide.

It was a great tour of Würzburg with Rob. It was a lot of fun. He was able to explain the history of the city to us in a very humorous way. We had a very nice walk. Because of the nice weather, we had a great view of the city from the vineyards. We would book a tour with him again at any time.

My wife, friends, and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Marienberg Fortress. The castle exceeded our expectations in size, and its rich history was truly fascinating. The architecture is stunning, and the panoramic views of Würzburg from the fortress are simply breathtaking. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and added a touch of humor, making the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! Additionally, this tour was much more affordable compared to the pricey options offered by our cruise, making it a great value for the experience.

As the activity is in english, I´ll try to do my review at this language, so sorry for the failures. I'm going to explain ALL the experience, with some conclusions at the end. We met with Rob at Mojacar, and he said to travel in our car to see the town and the beaches. Well, I've seen right now that it is said in Viator, but I can´t find it in TripAdvisor, so that was a bad surprise. After that, we went to Mojacar. He explained a lot of interesting things about it, we saw really beautiful places and he let us to do shopping there. It was nice. Later, we took my car to see the Macenas tower. We saw it in the car and we continued driving, as the tower isn't secure now. Once we have seen the Macenas tower, we kept driving to go to Pirulico tower. The road was awful. Me and my car were crying. But that tower is fantastic. Really really nice. There aren´t tourists and the views are incredible. Finally, we went to a beach pub, where music is played. For my girlfriend and for me, this was the worst part, as the pub is really expensive and we didn´t understand why did we have to pay more for the activity (to take a drink). Well, in Spain, when someone says that you can take another drink, you expect an invitation, but as we hadn´t cash we had to pay the entire bill with credit card. I think it may be for culture differences, as Rob is a nice person, but we felt scammed here. We could have just take a walk for the beach or something, I don´t know. Personally, I prefer activities where the price of the activity includes everything. In conclusion, good things: - Really beautiful places, where you probably can't go just with google maps, and some of them haven´t tourists. - Rob, the tour guide, is nice. - If you like the party, I recommend it. Bad things: - I see the activity expensive, as I´m taking my own car and we just see free places. - Not easy to see in TripAdvisor that you have to take your own transport (I haven´t seen it yet, and I read the activity 3 times).
