Enjoy some of Mexico City’s must-see spots with our ‘Colors of Mexico’ adventure.

Begin in Coyoacan, one of Mexico’s most influential cities. As you wander its tree-lined streets, you’ll learn how this city played a part in historical empires like the Aztecs and the Spanish.

Then visit either La Casa Azul or the Casa Kahlo (depending on the selected option). Step into Frida Kahlo’s world through her original home or the innovative new museum, and immerse yourself in the life and art of one of Mexico’s most iconic and original artists.

From the inspired art of Frida Kahlo, we’ll head to the eye-catching Xochimilco and board a trajinera - a colorful, gondola-like boat - for a ride through the neighborhood’s famous canals. As you indulge in local treats, your guide will share the incredible details of what makes this area a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Before finishing the tour, walk around North America's oldest university and admire its Central Campus, another World Heritage site.

Please note: for the options that include Frida Kahlo, you will visit only one Frida Kahlo museum. You may choose between the Frida Kahlo Museum (Blue House) or Casa Kahlo (Red House) at the time of booking.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the Casa Kahlo Museum is not the same as the Frida Kahlo Museum (La Casa Azul). The Casa Kahlo Museum is a new exhibition space, not the artist’s former home. By visiting this museum, you will have the opportunity to explore some of Frida Kahlo's personal belongings, as well as previously unseen artworks related to her life and legacy. However, this tour does not include entry to the original Frida Kahlo Museum (Blue House).

    5 out of 5. David and Gerson were great. Gerson was our tour person since we wanted our experience in Spanish. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He gave us his honest opinions on where to go and try. I would definitely book another tour with them.

    We arrived at the local coffee shop on time and were promptly assigned to charter buses. Our knowledgeable host, Barbie, was fantastic. We had a delightful surprise: a visit to Rafael, the owner of a jewelry shop. We also met a renowned jewelry artist for Leonardo DiCaprio, which showcased the global prestige of Mexican artists and crafts. We had the honor of shopping in his jewelry store. Despite the occasional delays of 5-10 minutes, we generally stayed on schedule. Xochimilco was an excellent place to grab a quick bite and drink (remember to bring pesos). We opted not to do the pre-paid lunch, which gave us more time to explore Coyoacan, where we found more food and drink options. I was a bit apprehensive about our next meal or when we would be able to eat or if we should pack lunch, but honestly, after experiencing Xochimilco and Coyoacan, we were fine. We received constant reminders about our meetup times, which helped keep everyone on track. The Frida Kahlo experience was seamless. They rearranged our tickets, which concluded our day perfectly. We returned to the café at a reasonable time, as suggested by the itinerary.

    Awful tour !! Avoid at all cost they are a fraud made me buy 2 different tickets and they were both wrong they also held my tickets hostage for an activity and gave away the meal that i paid for with my excursion!! do not book with them !

    Our whole group enjoyed this tour in Mexico City covering some really amazing sights and fun boat ride. It would not be the same without amazing guides Barbara and driver Felipe. Highly recommend!

    It is a pretty full experience, but one books way ahead , so a good reminder for exactly what is booked will be good.. did not know if we had tickets to Frida Kahlo house for example, said-nothing g is included and i could check options, but it was already paid for. The guide said we should have seen this and that after we finished, but other guides said what they should look for. A bug miss. Also guide spoke too fast, better to have separate explanation by each language, it was more noise than information.

    Fer & Barbie were great but honestly food buffet was very bad. Food very tasteless. This is the only reason I don’t give a five star. We eat at Coyoacán and there were soooo many amazing food options there!
