• Amazing experience in Yaxha with Elmer!

  We had a wonderful time in Yaxha with our guide Elmer! From the very beginning, communication with him was very easy , he is so friendly and efficient. He organized a fabulous private tour for our family: pick-up with a driver at our hotel near Flores, lunch at a great local restaurant, and discovery of the fascinating site of Yaxha! Throughout the trip, he gave us lots of interesting information about history and his country. You can see how passionate he is about Mayan history, and how eager he is to share its knowledge with you. And he is so thoughtful: he found us a perfect spot to watch a beautiful sunset, and took nice photos of us during the tour. He took great care of us and I could not recommend him more!   Elmer was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in our tour of Yaxcha National Park. His attention to detail was really impressive, and he catered the tour to our interests (my friends and I are environmentalists, so he showed us several rare beehives that no other tours stopped at!). We saw toucans, spider monkeys, and howler monkeys, and Elmer shared his binoculars so we could all get a closer look. I would absolutely recommend Tikal VIP Tours!

  Yaxha is an impressive place, it has a different energy than Tikal. The experience with Tikal Vip Tours was really good, from the moment of initial contact they were always very attentive to answer any questions, clear with what was included in the tour, and that was accomplished. They picked us up on time, both the guide and the driver, with the best willingness to clarify any questions and provide information about the different activities. Lunch, local food with very good flavor. Nature, the environment and the sunset in Yaxha took care of the rest of the magic.

  This tour was SO BEAUTIFUL. Yaxha is probably the most underrated attraction in all of Guatemala, and I can't recommend enough the trip with this company! I did the sunset tour with my boyfriend, and this was probably one of the most spectacular places we visited in Guatemala. Tito, our guide, was an expert on history and told us everything about Yaxha, Mayan culture, and Guatemalan culture overwall. Elmer helped me coordinate everything, they picked us up on time from our hotel in Flores, took us for lunch at a nice place with local food, and we were exploring the park the entire afternoon. I learned a lot, and took a lot of photos because everything you see is beautiful!

  Booked the Yaxha tour with Elmer and it was such a wonderful experience! He was so knowledgable and friendly, and was able to teach me a lot both about the history of the region and the ruins, and about the wildlife and plants in the area. Watching the sunset at Yaxha was also so beautiful. Elmer made me I had all the time I wanted to spend up on the ruins, and made sure to get a lot of good pictures since I was traveling alone. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

  Yaxha, an unrivalled place to watch a sunset from the top in the park. Walking in the jungle we observed different animals and met some medicinal plants thanks to Wilson our guide, who showed us each space of the park until sunset.

  We booked a 1-day private VIP tour from Flores to Yaxha with the sunset viewing. The service included: hotel pickup and drop-off, lunch at a local restaurant, ice-cold water, full-guided tour of the site. The tour was very comfortable on an air conditioned van and excellent driving. Our guide Jeovanni, made the experience unforgettable! He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions about the history of the country and the site. He knew the site very well, took us the best spots for the sunset viewing and took great pictures of us along the way! Jeovanni's sense of humour was unmatched. He has the best jokes (and beard :) ) in Guatemala!!!

  Our guide Elmar, was amazing!! He knew so much information about all the ruins around Yaxha as well as all the flora and fauna. Was able to answer all questions with loads of detail and excellent English.
