Different from regular trip to Jiufen, Shifen and Yehliu, this spectacular join in day tour departure from Taipei also takes you to an attraction where you can view Yin Yang Sea, 13 Levels Ruins and the beautiful Golden Waterfall at once.
Visit the mining town in the mountains, Jiufen to experience the scene of "Spirited Away." Go to Shifen Waterfall to relax and the Old Street to release your wishes onto the sky and may your trip become wonderfu!
Please be advised that the Shifen Waterfall suspension bridge is undergoing annual maintenance, an alternative route will be taken, which may require additional walking.

Stunning geological formations created by centuries of erosion from the ocean and wind, this natural wonder features unique rock shapes like the iconic "Queen’s Head," a delicately balanced formation resembling a queen's profile, as well as others creatively named "Fairy Shoe," "Sea Candles," and "Mushroom Rocks."
Golden Waterfall
Golden Waterfall's color is not due to pollution but rather a combination of natural minerals like iron and copper from the nearby abandoned Jinguashi mines. Here you will also overlook The 13 Layers Ruins, also known as the "Remains of the Thirteen Levels," along with Yin-Yang Sea. The sea here exhibits a unique blend of golden-yellow and deep blue hues, resembling the Taoist yin-yang symbol.

5.00Our guide Jimmy was wonderful. He confirmed via Whatsapp the day prior, and arrived at the meeting spot on time. It turns out there was only a few of us booked but the tour carried on anyway, which I appreciate as I know the tour company needs a minimum number of people to make it profitable. But this means it was essentially a private tour in a regular vehicle instead of a bus. The day was a little rainy at times but was still beautiful. Do be aware that walking around at YehLiu can be a little slippery as well as a large amount of stair steps at Juifen and the Shifen Waterfall. The entire tour is paced very well with some free time for shopping and food The Taiwan countryside is gorgeous, and these historic places are very interesting just an hour away from Taipei.

4.00The tour was organized and the bus was comfortable. We enjoyed seeing so many sights in one day. The guide's heavily accented English did make it difficult to understand details about each of the attractions. Ordering food ahead from the guide was a mistake - there is plenty of time to buy snacks and drinks at the sites.
Full day but full of great sights of northeast Taiwan

5.00What a full day, but getting out of Taipei to see the northeast side of the island is really worth it. Kate with MyProGuide Tour was well organized, informative, and very helpful. Yehliu Geopark is so cool - go see the Queen’s Head before she is decapitated! Golden Waterfall was trickling, but the rust color from the minerals was neat to see. We had plenty of time at Jiufen Old Street to eat lunch and take in the views and shop. Shifen Waterfall is a smaller, Taiwanese version of Niagara. And Shifen Old street and sky lantern release was fun. Don’t hesitate, book this for your trip!

5.00A few days before the tour, the operator let me know that not enough people booked this version with the Golden Waterfall, so I went on the tour without that stop. I had a fantastic time, and the guide, Lendl, was incredibly efficient. I've never been on a tour that adhered to the schedule before. The tour was timed really well so that we enjoyed Yehliu at the end of the day out of the heat of the sun. I felt the overall time at each location was appropriate. I would have liked to stay longer at Yehliu, but they close at 5. The ending at the night food market was perfect. The bus itself was very comfortable and the driver was great as well. A very well organized tour of fantastic places to visit. I would definitely recommend the tour and this provider.

5.00Loved this day trip to northern taiwan. Our guide, Gabe, was excellent -- very knowledgeable and attentive, he shared many interesting insights about each stop. We saw the geo park, jiufen, and shifen, plus a couple other stops along the way to see waterfalls. Pace felt perfect. Highly recommend

5.00Iris was the most wonderful guide I could have asked for, she was nice, kind, mindful and really helpful. She also explained a lot of the scenery for us and added historic facts and context to our trip. I will always book again for sure :)
Great place and nice country to visit. More on walking and there's a lot of free taste at jioufen old street. Taste good

5.00Jason, our tour leader provided exceptional customer service, attention to detail, a very friendly and funny guy. He speaks fluent English and Mandarin, and taking great pictures for us. We are family of 5 which is not an easy group to manage. He handled our request with ease. A great travel partner.

5.00The weather was a bit hotter than expected so it wasn't easy walking up and down the hill. Otherwise we had good experiences with this tour arrangement and the bus. Golden waterfall was skipped but they let us know few days before and allow cancelation.

5.00I liked this tour. The waterfall was gorgeous. The geo park was really cool and iconic. There was all kinds of neat things to buy and try at both of the markets. Also, the tour guide was really chill. I think his name was Wu.
