Different from regular trip to Jiufen, Shifen and Yehliu, this spectacular join in day tour departure from Taipei also takes you to an attraction where you can view Yin Yang Sea, 13 Levels Ruins and the beautiful Golden Waterfall at once.
Visit the mining town in the mountains, Jiufen to experience the scene of "Spirited Away." Go to Shifen Waterfall to relax and the Old Street to release your wishes onto the sky and may your trip become wonderfu!
Please be advised that the Shifen Waterfall suspension bridge is undergoing annual maintenance, an alternative route will be taken, which may require additional walking.

YehLiu Geopark
Stunning geological formations created by centuries of erosion from the ocean and wind, this natural wonder features unique rock shapes like the iconic "Queen’s Head," a delicately balanced formation resembling a queen's profile, as well as others creatively named "Fairy Shoe," "Sea Candles," and "Mushroom Rocks."
Golden Waterfall
Golden Waterfall's color is not due to pollution but rather a combination of natural minerals like iron and copper from the nearby abandoned Jinguashi mines. Here you will also overlook The 13 Layers Ruins, also known as the "Remains of the Thirteen Levels," along with Yin-Yang Sea. The sea here exhibits a unique blend of golden-yellow and deep blue hues, resembling the Taoist yin-yang symbol. [ Please note：Due to traffic restriction on weekends and public holidays, the tour will not be able to visit Golden Waterfall. However, we will still visit Yin-Yang Sea. ]

5.00Jimmy was our driver and guide for this tour. There was only one more couple with us on this tour so Jimmy picked us up in a sedan. He covered all the attractions giving us ample time at each place. He gave us loads of information. Upon return he dropped us off at the night market so that we got to experience that as well. Overall, a great experience!

4.00The tour bus driver was disappointing - tardy pick ups, aggressive driving on the highway, and erratic sudden stops mid driving. Aside from the driver, Eva/guide is awesome! Her peppy energy, fantastic communication on history and directions, along with warm and inviting Q&A are just a few traits that made the trip worth the book! Be sure to tip her - she deserves every penny! Love our shared group photos taken by her 🤗

3.00We did not visit the Golden Waterfall as that trip was cancelled and I was transferred to the mainstream one. I'd say we visited the Shifen waterfall, which was nice, although some 15-20 min walking one way from the parking. I found Shifen village uninteresting. Those lantern launches are for (dumb) tourists who don't care about the environmental impact of those lanterns ending up on fields and on trees. As tourists keep paying for this senseless service, tour operators will keep bringing them to Shifen. Apart from that, there's nothing to be seen or done in the village. Jiufen felt overcrowded and is not so amazing: the famous teahouse and a very long street with shops and stairs. The surrounding area looked beautiful but under pouring rain it was not easy to see a lot. The Yehliu geopark was beautiful, it's perhaps the only place I would go back to again. Our guide was a nice lady who provided useful information.

4.00This tour is strongly recommended if you want to see many interesting and beautiful places in the coastal area in one day. They all are worth seeing, and it could be difficult and take a lot of time to do it by yourself. The tour provided sufficient time to explore the sites, and the guide was very helpful. Be prepared: these are popular, touristy sites, still good.

5.00There were only 3 people on the tour so it felt very intimate in our own private taxi car the whole day. Our guide was the absolute best and she did a great job explaining some of the history behind the naming of the towns we visited. If you want a stress free day around Juifen and Shifen I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Our guide Jimmy was wonderful. He confirmed via Whatsapp the day prior, and arrived at the meeting spot on time. It turns out there was only a few of us booked but the tour carried on anyway, which I appreciate as I know the tour company needs a minimum number of people to make it profitable. But this means it was essentially a private tour in a regular vehicle instead of a bus. The day was a little rainy at times but was still beautiful. Do be aware that walking around at YehLiu can be a little slippery as well as a large amount of stair steps at Juifen and the Shifen Waterfall. The entire tour is paced very well with some free time for shopping and food The Taiwan countryside is gorgeous, and these historic places are very interesting just an hour away from Taipei.

4.00The tour was organized and the bus was comfortable. We enjoyed seeing so many sights in one day. The guide's heavily accented English did make it difficult to understand details about each of the attractions. Ordering food ahead from the guide was a mistake - there is plenty of time to buy snacks and drinks at the sites.
