The trip has been good with a knowledgeable guide Sharon. The geo park was beautiful and interesting. Jinfen was an eye opener and we met a store owner who produces ceramic ocarina and we bought 3 for the family. The waterfall involved a lot of walking and honestly we could do without. The lantern place is obviously very commercialize but interesting to see. All in all a worthwhile trip

I had Tony again today and it was an absolute pleasure. This tour covers the main highlights of the Northern tip of Taiwan, especially the Jiufen town built on the mountain. Excellent value for money.

Our family of 5 booked a private tour, and this was a fabulous day trip! The sites were memorable and beautiful, and it was wonderful seeing sites outside of Taipei. Our driver Tony and tour guide Jenny were both excellent. Jenny was very energetic, organized and enthusiastic, and had intersecting and detailed information to share not only about the sites we were seeing but also about Taiwanese culture, people, and history. Highlight of our Taiwan trip! Thank you!

This was truly an unforgettable experience. I would’ve never had the opportunity to participate in a stunning lantern festival or experience the wonder of Jiufen without it. Our tour guide, Tony, made all the difference! He was kind, knowledgeable, funny, and made the trip just so much better. I will forever be a Tony fan after this trip and hope to go on another tour with him on my return trip!!

Really loved this excursion. I will say it might be better in the spring or fall when it isn't quite so hot, but overall I've happy we did it! Our guide Chiara was truly wonderful, she went out of her way to make sure we all had a good time. My phone hadn't charged the night before, but she lent me her charging cable. She also gave us all cooling spray if we wanted. She was very organized and helpful. My favorite things were the lantern lighting and wandering around Jiufen. I think the geopark was really interesting too. Overall I think this tour is well worth doing!
