Our guide was difficult to understand. He wore a mask, his accent was thick, and his audio equipment on the bus was not great, making most of the information he mumbled about while we drove, fairly indecipherable. We could have rented a car and driven to the places just as easy. TONS of crowds. I would recommend going earlier on your own

We just completed Yehliu, Jiufen and Pingxi Tour on 11 April. Our guide was Vincent Chang. The tour was exceptional! We stopped at many sites including Yehiliu Geopark and saw the Queens Head. We went to the Pingxi Lantern festival and lit our own personalized lantern. Finally we went to the villiage of Jiufen which was very cool. We also made stops at the Love Tunnel and Jiufen Waterfall. The driver was great and was always on time for our pickup. We never felt rushed at any stops and were able to look in many different shops. Vincent’s English impeccable as was his knowledge of Taiwan. I would rate this tour 10 stars if the review allowed.

Our tour guide Tony was great! The geopark and waterfall were beautiful! I had one of my favorite meals in Taiwan at the market. A full day well spent!

David was a wonderful guide - very informative and interesting. We saw a lot of important landmarks and the lantern launching was a highlight. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about northern Taiwan.

This is the perfect day trip to combine all of the places mentioned so that you can easily see them from Taipei. Our guide, Walter, was wonderful and very fun to be on tour with!
