Yellowstone National Park forms the core of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, with one of the highest levels of wildlife diversity in North America. Our full-day private safari endeavors to highlight the hundreds of species of animals and plants that call this place home by utilizing the vast knowledge and experience of our naturalist guides.
Our guides provide not only the understanding of wildlife habits, and the story of their importance on the landscape. Throughout the day as you ride in our comfortable vehicles, your guide will educate and converse with you about the incredible ecosystem. They will also be attuned to all our guests' needs and desires, and will plan accordingly for walking, viewing, picnicking and moments of wilderness solitude. The use of optics such as binoculars and spotting scopes makes for incredible and personal moments of connection with this wild place. Your guide is at your service to help you have the best experience from start to finish.

Yellowstone National Park Entrance Gate - North Entrance. Your exact route and itinerary will be determined by your interests, current wildlife sightings, and current weather and road conditions. Our guides are all highly experienced, with thousands of hours in the field, and will expertly tailor your safari to you and your group. Summer is construction season in Yellowstone National Park and sometimes this can impact our tours. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park and your guide will do their best to navigate road closures, traffic slowdowns, and construction wait times.
Petrified Tree
A petrified redwood seems out of place in present day Yellowstone National Park, but millions of years ago, this area looked much different. Petrified trees, such as this are a natural relic of a volcanic past. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of the area. Our tours are customized for each departure. We may not stop here on every tour. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park.

5.00My husband and I did the Yellowstone safari tour, and overall it was a great experience! It ended up being just the two of us with our guide, which made it feel very personal and relaxed. The vehicle was comfortable and clean, which made the long drives much easier. Unfortunately, the day before our tour some of the park roads were closed, so we didn’t get to see everything we had hoped for. Wildlife viewing is never guaranteed, of course, but we were lucky to spot plenty of bison (they’re everywhere!), elk, deer, mountain goats, and even a coyote. Sadly, no wolves, moose, or bears this time — but that’s nature! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions. The provided lunch was also very tasty and well-prepared. If your main goal is to see more wildlife, I think summer would be the best time to visit. Still, we really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot about the park. Experiencing Yellowstone for the first time can feel a bit overwhelming on your own, so having a guide made it much easier. Now that we’ve done this tour, we feel more confident to come back and explore at our own pace next time!

5.00We had an incredible day exploring Yellowstone. Lorna was so informative and made the Yellowstone experience educational and enjoyable. She came equipped with binoculars and scopes as we spotted all types of native animals. Her knowledge made the park come to life. And she didn’t mind taking all the pictures I asked for with my husband. The tour was well organized and executed. Highly recommend.

1.00It is with great regret that I have to leave this kind of review but we were totally dissatisfied. First the good news; Excellent small group. Ample water & snacks Stopped several times for bathroom breaks. Now the bad news. Right off the bat we were informed that we would not be following the itinerary. We did not go to Lamar Valley at all. Instead did the lower loop which I had already booked with another outfit later that week. Did not once stop to look at any wildlife like the itinerary portrays. Our guide seemed preoccupied with getting home. Did the whole lower loop in less than 10 hours. I don't enjoy writing these kinds of reviews but I feel that other potential customers should be forewarned. As far as I'm concerned we deserve a total refund for us and the two other couples that we with us. Would not recommend Yellowstone Wildlife Safari. Regretfully.

5.00We did the Best of Yellowstone tour on July 2, and it exceeded all expectations. Adam, our guide, was outstanding—so knowledgeable about every aspect of the park. We saw grizzlies, black bears, wolves, bison, elk, marmots, and more. The day was fun, informative, and well-paced, with a tasty lunch included. Truly the best way to experience Yellowstone in one day. Highly recommend—especially if you want to learn and see as much as possible!

5.00We had a fantastic time on this tour! Alien was a very knowledgable about the Park & the wildlife!!! He was very patient & engaged with each guest ( total of 8 ). Our lunch was delicious & we ate in this beautiful spot beside a lake! We saw grizzly bears , black bears , a wolf , bison , pronghorns , Sandhill cranes , elk & more!

5.00Today, was an absolute dream! Our tour van was spacious, the windows were so big & amazing to see all the animals & sites! Our guide was Zak, and we can’t say enough about him! He was extremely knowledgeable, super kind, fun, & had the most amazing energy that made the day so fun! When we come back, we will ask for Zak! He brought us to the most beautiful sites! We saw so many animals today, and learned so much about them & their locations. We asked so many questions, and Zak was so excited to answer them all! Our lunch & snacks were great! He offered lots of waters & drinks. He made the trip fun, memorable, & just a super unique experience overall! So grateful for our day & for Zak!
